    BBC forecast showing five consecutive days over 30c for Cardiff. Met office app, Cardiff doesn't get up to 30 on any of those days.

    Had very little in Kettering last Sunday morning. Would love to see the figures for the last few weeks. They must be incredibly low. Even when we've had those showery days, they all seem to pass by, missing by a couple of miles. Or any larger area of rain, just breaks up and vanishes just before it gets here.

    I'm not sure if it's rained at all today in Kettering area. I was away for most of the day. Driving back along the M42 and M6, I drove through some decent rain, but it doesn't look like there's been any at home. If anyone in North Northamptonshire on here has some rainfall figures for the past month or so, I'd love to see them .

    I'm amazed that nothing seems to have officially gone higher than Heathrow. Didn't they set that record before 1pm?

    Isn't Wittering an official station? Seems to say 41c. I'm convinced Kettering got to 40.

    Just had a quick walk around the block. Probably just about 300 metres . The hot wind is bizarre!

    Happy birthday! Think you're right about the temperature, but definitely a race against time. If that front wasn't moving in, no idea what we would reach tomorrow!

    Think we'll definitely make 40 here in North Northamptonshire. Not sure where nearest official measures are taken. Probably miles away in Wittering.

    I make it 34 here in Kettering already. Possibly another three or four hours to get that last bit. Then maybe break it again tomorrow

    Is there a way to view what the 850 temps are live(ish)? To see the progress of the warmer air.

    16c outside in northants this morning. Beautiful day. You'd never know anything unusual was happening.

    I'm right in the middle of the current red zone. I'm not aware of any workplaces doing anything different in the next two days. I'm not sure what the models would have to show, for that to happen.

    Very hazy now in northants. Even though the temperature is up on yesterday at this time, it doesn't feel warmer. Certainly nowhere near as warm as it felt last Monday.

    Currently 23c inside, 17c out. So for now , doors and windows open.

    I'm pretty much in the middle of the red zone . I've not heard of anything around here, that isn't going ahead as normal on Monday and Tuesday. Apart from, kids at school can wear PE kit.

    Is there a way of finding out what the max temperature was July 19th 2021? Northants, or even London figure would do. Thanks.

    Leaving aside Monday and Tuesday for a second. It's looking like a pretty hot and sunny weekend for a lot of places
