    Constant sleet continues. Not half cold out there with the sleet and wind blowing!

    Only covering the cars here but it's amazing to see it settling this late in march! Weird for sure

    Settling on the cars here now too. From the torrential rain of gatwick to the depths of winter in cumbernauld. Interesting day

    Can see sleet here now well close to here as I just heading home

    The nearest destination to me my phone can get is showing a very chilly -8 outside apparently

    Can't see any more showers here now with the wind due to turn northerly soon. Can see the clouds to the east and at times it does look they want to blow in and hit us but they blowing away from us each time they come closer

    Looks like i've just got home in time as cloud is really blowing in from the east again

    It's still sunny but will it last? (encouraged by the edinburgh reports I admit) The snow has surprisingly not melted that much which is surprising

    The ground's not too wet now that's for sure sticking slight cover but it's sticking

    The cover is sticking on the cars/grass/roofs ground probably a tad too wet still

    Yeah some of last shower has remained here too. Obviously past the warmest part of the day so anything that does fall will likely stick now And I guess i'm about to test that theory as something about to hit and it looks as if it might be quite big again

    I'm thinking if we had had those type of airmasses in say december/janurary minus the strong sun of march there would be virtually no snow melt (maybe very little)

    Supposed to be -4 in glasgow tonight. With convection I suppose it could be interesting

    I would say we are virtually in a white out here now!

    Snow shower number 2 or 3 or whatever we're on blowing through now. Lovely bonus!
