    OOH Rain turning a bit sleety now

    Just rain here and a lot of it! Ground/grass is getting seriously wet underfoot now and saw the weather looks like it will last well into tomorrow too

    Was a horrible start to the day with some heavy rain but that's cleared south now. Still a little bit breezy but not as windy as it was Bealach na ba was the windiest place last night with a gust of 129MPH

    Windy here but nothing too out of the ordinary just your fairly standard blow really

    1 other noticeable thing here now is how saturated the fields seem to be getting again. Drier spell would be welcome

    Pish ootside Quite moderate rain (was like this yesterday at this time too) and this is before the wind later

    That's what happened this morning here. Got dark, started raining, had a flash and rumble then the hail hit was pretty short but intense

    Had our first flash and rumble of the year here (quickly turned the shower into heavy hail) and made me run as I was out with the dogs at the time never ran fast enough!

    Cloud's already increased ahead of the next "Rain" bearing front

    Sun seems to have a bit of oomph to it now. Was horrendous this morning i.e. really icy but that's all melted

    The slightest hint of sleet from this second band but mostly rain that's truly it I think for this cold

    All the rain/snow cleared now so I guess that's the end of it (tomorrow night's will be rain) nice finish to a spell that has been disappointing snow wise

    Coming on a bit again but you are right for everything that has seemingly fallen there is a slim covering frustrating but it's a familiar story this spell

    It's not much we got lying thin cover at it's best but it's laying on the ground that's probably as good as it will get. Nice way to end the cold spell

    Getting another burst which is laying on the ground again well trying to anyway but think the wet ground is preventing it from fully lying

    Been snowing since about half 5 this morning had a lull but just starting again quite dark too

    I know it won't happen like this (anything but) But I prefer the as cool and as wet as possible (That goes from March to August and not just spring) I know it won't work like that though EDIT: The good thing about spring up here is that we seemingly always get a cracking thunderstorm (whether that be a plume or thundery type of air/showers) Not all bad in a way

    IF I saw the graphics this morning (I was still just waking up at half 9 so I may have been mistaken) It looked to me as if it was going to be a all snow event tomorrow EDIT: Looks like Kirsty Mccabe is going to be doing some BBC Forecasts up here in scotland according to Judith Ralston via facebook
