    Really was pretty foggy last night (and at first this morning) Don't often see that in july here

    AAH! Finally the main front's arrived. Can finally say goodbye to the heat which although was fun did get a little uncomfortable!

    It's going to be a game now. What will hit first. The main rain band to the west or a shower/storm ahead of it?

    The wind has really got up although the worst of the shower I think off to the east

    The sauna on it's way out at long last thankfully!

    There's a little band of showers not too far away from me. Some strikes being detected apparently...............the beginning of the end of the sauna

    A lot of cloud around today as a consequence it's finally a little cooler Although the temperatures are cooler it's considerably more humid. Still a bit of a sauna

    Could possibly be a little interesting here tomorrow but would not reckon so surprising considering the oven that has built up

    How accurate is that site as just about a mile up the road a station is showing 31 surely to god it not been that hot here today!

    My other half in bramley, guildford about to get absolutely clobbered me thinks!

    Seems to be something on radar down towards the south east already

    I interested to note Nick F has issued a possible thunderstorm forecast (for the western half of scotland) you think they could sneak into the central belt?

    Suppose I may watch the skies with interest today (Don't think anything will happen here myself but who knows)

    Sun just breaking through now. Still got the breeze though which made it feel considerably better yesterday. Not so stifling as tuesday was

    Do love a easterley in summer especially when it's nights like this it drags in the mist and low cloud (which has eroded again) What an absolutely fantastic spell this is

    Sun broken through a lot quicker today. Already a scorcher. Bazinga!

    The change continues a pace. A few weeks ago it wouldn't be as dark as it is currently (although still pretty light) and the sun is defo not as high as it used to be at half past 5 in the morning. I personally loving the getting shorter days myself

    It got a little cloudier about 1 or so but it didn't last. It's an absolute belter of a evening and still warm (and this might just be the beginning) maybe 1 of the best summer spells for quite a while

    Now all of a sudden it really started throwing it down here. Maybe a chance of a grumble who knows

    It's pouring with rain here but not a torrent of thunderstorms as maybe was predicted

    It's been a bit of a damp afternoon but not over excessively so. Quite humid but not exactly feeling too warm

    Rain has set in here. Whether we get the thundery element today is a little open to question
