    Part 1 of this weekend came through here not that long ago gave about 2 minutes of rain barely enough to wet the ground

    That didn't last long. No rumbles and ground barely got wet

    Didn't think I would say this but it really feels quite cool here today with the wind and cloud. Quite blissful actually!

    The remements of last night's fun and games are approaching (as expected they have weakened) May get something but not 100% sure

    Can't deny today has been an absolute belter. The next 3 days admittedly are a little iffy but once we get past sunday it does look good again (I think)

    Lot of lightning heading towards the southwest. It's on boys and girls

    I think tonight's and tomorrow's feature is starting to show not a million miles away to the southwest

    Hm that don't look all that exciting for us up here. I wonder..................

    It's starting to become noticeable the changing daylight hours here not much yet but slowly getting there (still light at the time i'm usually out with dogs at half 5 but the sun not as high as before and the street lamps at night starting to come on earlier)

    Got to admit it did look rather nice before it erupted here. Classic dark skies/wind gusting but you would never have thought there was rain as it drying up very quickly

    That band that came over us earlier seems to be producing strikes as it goes east across scotland

    Nice little short but very sharp burst of rain looks like it about to come through

    It's a sky watch I would think (and radar watch) the latest GFS runs for up here seem to have toned the energy down completely (although in southern england it looks good for night storms) it will keep chopping and changing I know that

    You deserve nothing doing that In all seriousness it's a very interesting and complex scenario developing. Is everybody going to get storms? Hell no. Will some places get clobbered? Possibly. It's a case of watching the skies and seeing how it all develops. Some night storms might be interesting (again if they materialise)

    It's not often that it looks this good to be truthful (Of course there will be chops and changes always is in these situations) the heat and humidity though that's coming are seemingly a bonus to keep things going though I would think

    Heavy rain here now lovely saturday night (and dark too) not had it dark at this time for ages

    Rain (well main band 1) has really set in now. There's a follow through for later I think

    Weather at 1 point this morning was more akin to november than july (misty and drizzly) but it not cold. Feels quite stuffy

    Cloud is bubbling up a little now (similair to yesterday) but it's another ripper out there

    Clouded in a little after a lovely sunny start but really quite warm

    Amazingly despite seemingly all the rain/thunder that's around we're dry here but quite literaly only just. If I was to go a few miles east maybe it would be wet but no it's bone dry here

    Heard rumbles here just to the east and north but very little rain over us

    Still rumbling to the north and east even if the rain's stopped
