Does anyone else feel it's mild? Got home yesterday and the house was cold, even with heating on. walked to work this morning and felt cold in the breeze; yet temps are much higher than the other week and i don't feel any warmer. Or is it just me?

I mentioned something the other day about how much the model threads had; and i know its an odd thing to say; spoiled my enjoyment of winter. the constant up and down waves of pessimism, optimism, fortune telling, unpredictability and in thread sniping, cliquey groups of certain model types and general about facing of opinions left me just wishing winter would go and the rants and raves of folk disappear. alway been and always will look 3-5 days ahead and not wish my life away as to what might happen in a fortnight

@SunnyG Not here in Westminster, grey, cloudy, dull and a cool breeze. (well, cool to me when i walked over Westminster Bridge this morning)

Strange sort of morning today, it wants to be mild and clear but its a bit cool and a low cloud trying to be fog is greying the sky. it reminds me of a spring morning where the low cloud burns off quickly and temps rise. 12C with a slack southerly breeze currently

Maybe they are all looking for the quote button... still it makes reading the thread a lot easier where there is not a page of model pics all set vertically instead of mosaic. and then repeated where someone has just hit 'quote'

Ahhh Spring, my favourite part of winter Not sure we are there yet, but wish it would hurry up and arrive as i am fed up with winter now. To be honest i was fed up with winter once i ventured into the model threads and saw the sine wave pattern of :- 'coldest winter for years' 'snow for everyone' 'oh no, its not going to be cold now the models have had their say' 'but you said last week that this week will be better' etc. etc. posts. killed winter for me.

No model posts for 7 hours?

I mentioned in the regional thread... now getting to 9 hour days between sunrise-sunset. I too am still up in the dark mornings (0530 normally) but the afternoons are now extending to the point i nearly get home in reasonable light. onwards and upwards!!

By the end of this month we will be at the stage where there is 9 hours between sunrise-sunset. can only get better there after. noticeable currently that when i leave work now i get daylight still on my way home.
