At T117 GFS 6z this low heading to the Biscay doesnt have a massive amount of precip with it

GFS so far at 6z still has this "pesky low" which might become the Biscay one... (currently over Canada) on the same track

GFS especially has had a pivot point for a while now being mid/end part of next week. For altruistic reasons I have been monitoring this thread for a while given I (and probably many other parents) go off on hols mid/end part of next week and I wonder even if I'll be able to enjoy this high 20's early 30's 500 miles South of where I am (south coast). Really happy for us, especially commercially, that this spell has happened, shame it wasn't shifted a couple of weeks later. It's nice to have this weather, but I am stuck in an office 5 days out of 7 and with 8 days until I go (and many others), fretting over what the charts are doing. The storm chaser in me wants to see it kick off, but return to mid 20s and dry weather... With 3 small kids I don't want +30c. Really intrigued where this spell could continue post next week (apart from the obvious areas like Spain)

A bit of talk on the models discussion about this low that might gravitate towards northern spain end of next week...I am escaping to La Rochelle next Thursday who knows what I am in for..might miss the, dare I say it, breakdown

I drive my wife mad living by these models each time we go to my parents in La Rochelle for holiday, set to go in 10 days time and I am like a cat on a hot tin roof now the holiday is 240 hours away.....and a hot week ahead in a non air conditioned office. Praying to the god of sod's law it doesnt break..

Thinking about it more, I could set aside budget for flight/car to Germany, IF there was a good chance of what's happening now/yesterday...go for 2-3 days...chase like in the states, stay in motels..

Had I gone to the states and saw something like Germany/Denmark saw last night I would have been happy. Utopian situation for me is not necessarily tornadoes, it's the lightning shows from afar for photography. I'd happy take a few days off work and chase into Europe if I knew something last night was coming. I'm in Pompey, who'd be with me...?
