    I've just this second took a picture of the same thing - I'm still not too familiar with cloud names, although I'm just naming this slightly-wavey-lumpy-bumpy ones.

    These nights ... so clammy and sticky and hot ... I seriously cannot handle them. And looking at some of the charts - especially for us - I think it's time I pack my bags and bugger off to Iceland or Greenland for a bit. :/

    These suggestions sound more nicer than what I would've came up with. I would've just went with something along the lines of: Andy, Baz, Carl and Dave.

    That's a lively cell (to the North-west of Brighton) that's only shown up in the last hour that's starting to spark.

    Blitzortung's blank for me too, also LightningMaps keeps 502'ing today too. Update anyway on conditions here, very muggy and also overcast. Haven't seen a break in the sky all day so far, so can't see what's/if something's brewing in the distance.

    Ugh, woke with sore eyes this morning - that's a first. Probably nothing to do with WX conditions mind. Anyway, it's still cloudy here... ... hopefully things will change over the next few hours. *crosses fingers, toes and other bits*

    Woah... Flash bang flash bang etc is in the perfect place it seems... was that another 4 or 5 strikes?! :o EDIT (04:28): They've disappeared reappeared. These false ones are bugging me now.

    Yup, it does seem to be just that one. That line is darting towards London... go onnnn wake those that're sleeping up with a few good loud claps and house-shaking rumbles. (^_^) EDIT (03:43): Just post that and whoosh, strike in London (nr Canary Wharf).

    Just popped back from the shop (than goodness for the 24/7) and it's still fairly warm out - only wore a t-shirt - and it started to feel a bit clammy/muggy when I was walking back. Shame the storm(s) around Jersey look to be heading towards the wrong side of the country to me. :'(
