  1. Got to 33.5c in Heathrow and Northholt. I was so damn close with 33.7c lol.
  2. Not just my thermometer, my friends and my Dad's. All read the same temperature. Might off been very slightly off but it was very close.
  3. That's higher than a lot of the mid Summer days we've had in previous years lol.
  4. I'd never write it off. We'd have to go some to get another three weeks of this sort of weather but there's nothing to stop the warm air from Spain coming over again, as long as we have high pressure it's most certainly possible.
  5. Looks like I'm going to be extremely close with my 33.7c prediction. Strange I managed to hit 33.1c here though, usually a degree or two cooler than Heathrow. Don't know if it was because it was clearer here or what.
  6. It probably has scuppered it, especially as it was after 4:00. 4:30-4:45 is the peak of the day's temp so I can't see it rising enough for Heathrow to touch 34c before the ground and air start to cool.
  7. In Watford that temp seems feasible. probably slightly lower, but not much.
  8. This really has been for me what I'd call the perfect Summer's day. 32-33c with a light southwesterly breeze, just enough to hit you but doesn't cool you too much like a northerly breeze. Minimal cloud to let the temps rise and low humidity. Absolutely perfect Summer's day.
  9. It really isn't though, that's what so great about it. Like I said earlier, I've been to Spain and the humidity is no worse here than there. Usually it's the worst humidity I've felt here because our warm spells don't last long enough because of clashing air which results in humidity. Only place worse than the UK usually is the Far East. Now THAT is humid.
  10. Shame it's going to dip after this. Oh well, can't complain. This sort of spell in the UK is rare. It's virtually the same temp as Madrid here, so great.
  11. Yep, it says that on nearly all weather forecasts at the moment. It obviously isn't developing as bad or as fast as they first thought. I think it'll hold on for a bit longer yet.
  12. It really isn't too bad, I've been to the Med and it feels almost identical to that heat. Much cleaner than the usual British heat.
  13. The forecast for here was completely off for today. There was supposed to be a lot of cloud and showers today and thunderstorms, hasn't been a cloud in the sky for three hours now. Maybe it's not developing as bad as they first thought. Wouldn't be surprised if this plume held on for a bit longer yet.
  14. Well it's just under 32c and I find that just perfect, brilliant for being out in. Not too humid either, it's more likely to more uncomfortable later in the week even though the temps will be a lot lower the humidity will be higher. Although the storms aren't looking nearly as bad as people first thought.
  15. Yeah, I think that may even turn out conservative. Considering we have three hours of warming to go and some places are nearly at 32c. I said 34c for Heathrow but at this rate it'll go higher than that.
  16. Wouldn't be surprised if Heathrow hit 34c by 4.30PM. My max temp prediction was 33.7c. Will be close.
