This is a BIIIIG storm :lol: I'm actually a bit concerned, we just had 2 lightning bolts that were extremely close, the rumble felt like an earthquake lol. I don't like storms like this, I like storms sometimes but not when the lightning bolts are about 500m away :o
oooo you lucky lad, im sat under blue skies not a storm in flipping site, they are all south of me about 5/10 miles away cant drive at the mo as i have had a major op so very frustrated, enjoy mother nature at its best.. keep the reports coming in for us poor folkes

Im 99% confident i will still be a member of this club tomorrow night :lol:
im 100% sure i will be in the no storms club by tomoz.... I cant believe all these storms are again marching passed me about 5 miles away :lol: ... trouble is i have just had a major op and cant drive
.. otherwise i would be on a chase and hunting these babys down.. SO FRUSTRATING.. every time i look at radar im like "hell not again, give me a break" hope to see somemore peeps on here today (i feel so alone) SELFISH i know sorry :lol:

Lovely covection going on here in S.Wales, towers forming quicvker than I can type No doubt we will be the breeding ground for England again today
same here, totally still outside, very humid, got some lovely towers going up, looking at radar we are just going to have a few spots of rain.. nice blob about to clip me, first one of the day, looks like a streamer following on behind. very interesting day ahead.

Hi kaz, have you heard any thunder. There is a sferic on the lightning detection most likely from that.
no not a thing not even any rain suns out very hot and humid, they are just missing me.. looking at radar they are intensifying, but they seem to be following a line and that line is just missing me. :lol: .. so frustrating but there.

im under a dome i tell e.. i have heavy rain to the left right above but nothing even near me thought i was in for a good chance today but sadly still going to be a member of this club for a while yet

Radar looks great but zip over me, i can see darker clouds on the horizon but according to radar it should be right over me head about now. But the clouds are hardly moving in fact its very difficult to see which way they are heading due to such slow movement.
right all eyes back to the Grand Prix go jenson.

Told you!! That area of stagnant PPN will move slowly North East overnight. Intensifying too it seems. Get stuck over the North Midlands then decay. But behind it, sharp showers and thunderstorms which I think will be predominant over the south west.
So Jane Louise, Loopydreamer and all south west of Birmingham... Tomorrow could be your lucky day!! :lol:

i am just on the edge of that large rain band now but i can see some nice looking showers following on behind.... and yes it is starting to twist in on its self

No your right whats over me now and has been all day is going to loop back round on its self and hit us and Wales again. dont forget this is the first drop of rain we have had for weeks so the ground at the moment will act as a sponge. Ive had extremely heavy rain all day but the ground looks to be mopping it up quit well.. no need to panic yet.The same lump of PPN is expected to pivot and move back up the country again later tonight/tomorrow is it not? Or have things changed?kaz x

Rain looks exceptionally intense across the SW now
take it from someone under it, it has been very heavy for hours now and no sign of it letting up. No storms embedded in them as yet though. just pouring rain and 0 wind, its so still its almost eerie..

I'm getting desperate - any distant rumble of thunder counts as a storm here!
strobe lighting and a low flying jet counts as one here lmao.. 0% here AGAIN today.. what really bug's me is we seem to set them all up and knock them on to other parts.. Had towers going up like crazy yesterday then fall as quickly as they went up

all the clouds that were bubbling up nicely have all gone fut (very technical term that) still very humid and hot hot hot.. looking like 0% chance of any storms in my area now..

oh a great club, i dont feel so alone now oct 08 was the last time i saw lightning, i am starting to forget what live lightning looks like
... will start creating some of my own if this keeps up. kaz x

i just wish i had his money and a job where you can just get on a plane and rush off at the drop of a hat.. Made us look er a bit mad. typical i have spent ages telling people im very normal really

I think winter is going to go out with a BANG .. Its not over yet just a brief lull..
For those moaning they didn't get a storm last night and i am ashamed i was one of them
I think we got lucky as i didn't get flooded out nor did i end up driving in a river nor do i have to dig myself out to go and get food today and at least i have nice warm dry house.and all my trees and fences are where they are meant to be not impaled in my next-door neighbour Now eyes down and lets have a look where the next lot of snow is going to come from East or North?? place your bets now.

had a little heavy shower didnt last more than a few mins 4 loud claps of thunder didnt see any lightning, poss ic..
