I arrived after midnight so had to fork out a handsome sum for a bloody taxi :/
I waited an hour n half for the shuttle to pick me up from the airport. In the end I got s taxi too. Found out the lady was being very sick. Must of known we was coming lol

LOL Andy at least you'll be going home to "fingers crossed" some warmer weather, I'll be a heading home to 3 months of winter temps
Will have the gloves and scarf packed for the 6.30am arrival home in Sydney on 12 June.I do hope we do go home to Warner weather. Been rubbish so far. Hope your winter isn't too cold far ya

Same here Gail. Can't believe how chilly it is here today. The month has been cold. Only 11'c today. I've known May to be so much hotter. Must be the El Niño effect lol

Driving down to Reading then getting the RailAir coach.Yeah should see us on changeover day Nick F I'm on tour 2 n 3. Last year only done one tour but it wasn't long enough lol. So going on 2 tours this year.

Tour 2'er here! Leaving Heathrow at 15.20 tomorrow, and most likely won't be landing into Dallas until gone 1am (7am UK time...). Lonnnnng day.
My flight leaves 5 mins before yours at 15.15. Arrives at Dallas 19.30 (1.30am)

Ok cool. Will do that. Will shoot in RAW + JPEG then I'm covered both ways. Thx for that :-)Always shoot in Raw Andy , down the line when you've worked your way around photoshop , you'll be happy to have RAW files to use. For printing photos too , having that extra amount of data in the file will produce a better quality print

I shoot in both Andy. Nikon has an option for that. Use the jpegs to have a quick look at etc and then if there's one I really like I use the raw file to lob in to photoshop to tinker with if I want. Tbh though I just use the jpegs 99% of the time as I can't be arsed!
When I been using it. Been doing it on JPEG + RAW but couldn't view anything via RAW. Been thinking of getting photoshop but haven't had the time lately due to being very busy working. Thank for that :-) Just over a week to go now. Can't wait

If using windows go to Microsoft download site and download the Microsoft camera codec pack

Totally agree with ya. They are getting gonna have the time of there lives. At the end of the tour. They will be sick of thunderstorms lol.Wow Paul, you'll be racking up the miles very quickly this year by the look of things if your aiming for Illinois by Monday.
Have a great time, hopefully you'll bag a wedge and see you in a couple of weeks.

Literally any tornado that I can see with my naked eye!
lol. Know how you feel. Never seen a tornado till the one at Roswell NM last year n that was an ugly one. Would love to see a nice smooth one going right up n not rain wrapped n try n get a really good photo of it

What type of tornado would you like too witness on the chase ? I would love to witness maybe an EF 2 or EF 3 rope tornado

Sure was a close strike. It hit the pilon 20ft away from us and yep that was me running for cover lol. Damn. Wot a rush !
