Hi tom. Last year I just used one 32gb card n took over 1700 photos on it using RAW n JPEG in a large format. Still had loads of space. But I did take a spare memory card along but didn't use it. Be able to pick some up there n be a lot cheaper too

I watched that just the other night too also been watching storm chasers on you tube. Do hope we get to see Sean casey and reed timmer when we are over there. Love to see the TIV n dominator

Got nearly a week off work starting tomorrow, will finally have a stab at figuring out how to use my new camera

Lovely servere thunderstorms for me. If I see some over the English channel. I'm straight on to the cliffs with my camera n snapping away.

That's a beauty dub. I'm a Nikon guy but I havent got a lightning trigger. Gonna just try n capture some with some filters.

Last year I didn't get a ticket either. Phoned up the airline n they told me I don't get my ticket till I get to the check in desks. All I needed to show was my passport n they had me down on there system. Was in n out of the check in with in 5 mins

Hi Sam. Welcome aboad. This will be a trip of a life time. I'm on tours 2 and 3. Be best if you arrive a day earlier like on the 29th n book into the best western Irvin inn for the night. That way you be all fresh for the next day. The tour departs on the 30th but not sure what time tho. hope you have a great time and will see you there.

Only 6 weeks to go now. Only seems like it was a few months ago that I last went storm chasing. Can't believe how quick it's gone and I can't wait.

I was watching the live stream on tvn and live feed from fox 23 of the tornado going through Moore OK. Very dramatic. There was 3 more tornados seen in Tulsa OK

Only 8 weeks n counting. Everytging is done. Holiday paid. Flight booked. Hotel booked. Travel insurance done. Now just waiting for the $ to start climbing again. Currently 1.44 to a pound. This time last year it was 1.65 to a pound.

couldnt remember if I had paid the full amount or not at first but yeah I've paid up. Can't believe I be flying out 8 weeks tomorrow. Last years storm chase only seems like a few months ago. It's gone so quick

Back in 2006 I had the same kind of situation when I flew back from Omaha to Newark. My flight was delayed due to storms. When I got to Newark. I had to run to catch my connection to Gatwick. I was the last person to board n the flight waited for me which was nice but the storms over Omaha was amazing and looking down on them while flying was something I will never forget.Cheers
I remember having a close connection when I went to Oklahoma via Atlanta, raced through the airport, whizzed through immigration, at the gate with plenty of time...and then the flight was delayed for 2 hours because of storms anyway
But we got an absolutely breathtaking view of a very active storm at eye level in the dark when we finally got in the air, it was incredible. -
Sadly not, got to go through immigration and go across the airport. If I miss it I miss it, I'll just have to run. I've spoke to United over Twitter and they said I'd be put on the next available flight.

UA959 Heathrow to Chicago at 15.20, landing there at 18:25. Then UA765 to Dallas at 19:46. Thankfully it's not the last flight of the day to Dallas.
Hopefully you should make the connection then in time. Do hope they are both in the same terminal. My flight departs 5 mins before yours. AA79. Arrives at DFW at 1915

Transport to Heathrow booked, and Best Western Irving booked! Although I am still not at all confident I'll be there on the 18th with my very close connection time!
