    I'm guessing the cet will be getting a hammering after Tuesday with the arrival of Cooler weather.

    We've just gone from 25.1C to 22.3C in the space of 30 minutes with a huge breeze but no rain (yet!) ETA;Just before 9:00pm the rain has finally reached but nothing to heavy yet.

    I agree that the heat has to go and i can't wait for it to end-and my god The Model thread need to get their heads out of the sand and realize that we are approaching the "enough is enough" stage with this heat-it has to break for good sometime-and since we want to compare this summer to 1976, may i remind them when that heatwave ended, it ended around August Bank Holiday weekend with a bang which was followed by a very wet autumn.

    Well it is now the School Holidays (usually a weather curse) and i'm sure it will go downhill before August ends, And yes the heat ends needs to leave as soon as possible, it outstayed it's welcome somewhere around the first week of July.

    Well it's raining in Sheffield, light admittitley but at least the grass will look green rather than yellow from here on in.

    In fact water restrictions shouldn't be coming into force until at least 2020 with the amount of rain the country had in the first 4 months of the year

    14.7C and 44mm please We are somehow going to end up paying for this glorious weather around Bank Holiday Weekend lasting for most of June.

    Wowsers-This Spring really has been fickle hasn't it-First the Coldest March 1st on record then one of the wettest Easter Weekend's in a long time, then the warmest May Day Bank Holiday on Record (for some areas) and now this (for Sheffield at least.)

    And also beating last April in terms of rainfall by a wide margin (and it's only the 3rd April).

    But it has now turned back to rain very quickly and i except a huge thaw before the day ends.
