    Sorry-Since The Met Office says that a flake of snow has to fall on Christmas Day for it to count as a White Christmas surely for it to count as a White Easter a flake of snow has to fall on Easter Day (Sunday) and from what i've read that ship has sailed

    But too late for a White Easter on the grounds of the fact it would have had to have happened on Sunday.

    But (thankfully) it seems the chances of a White Easter continue to go out the window since Sunday is looking like the best day of the whole weekend.

    Thank goodness i got back from Cadbury World in time because it looks the Amber warning this time was justified as it's turning into an evening where if you don't have to go out, DON'T!

    So (unless it really comes down tonight) the moral of this story is don't always blieve the hype of the Model thread-and plus the Amber warning doesn't kick in til 4:00pm so this (knowing our luck) is probably going to be it.

    Remember the last time we went under Amber-It got delayed by a day by which time the Amber warnings had expired-i sense the kiss of death is about to happen again!

    Well if that's the case i'm going into my hibernation until Spring actually starts since it was supposed to start 2 weeks ago! see you all when it's all over (possibly this weekend when nothing happens and the models downgrade)

    Looks like Friday Night/Saturday Morning might get some interest depending on how fast the band turns from rain to snow but after that we appear to be out of the running for Sunday's lot of snow.

    Looking like a shortend version this time on Sunday and next Monday as we're back to not as cold by the following Tuesday (if the models are right).

    Looking like won't as the temperature in Sheffield is currently -1.1 at the moment the highest it has been for a good few days.

    They have just issued a red for Central Scotland from 3:00pm this afternoon.

    Be careful what you wish for-There's a Bank Holiday weekend at the end of March/Start of April. But yes on Thursday, March/Spring will be coming in like a polar bear rather than a lamb.
