Snowing alot in Birmingham.. visibility very low and lots more snow to come?

Aah, Probably one of the least wintry winters ive experienced 'yet' but so far its just been rain and a bit of sleet for me! L

argh, i really do hope there are a few more chances to come! I havent even seen a single flake this winter so far ive never lived thru a winter here in cardiff without even seeing a single flake... Its pretty evident that what we call 'perfect' scenarios for snowfall here in the south are simply just not enough or don't stick around for long enough anymore. Im 23 years old and i can remember guaranteed good 4-5 day spells ov very wintry weather every winter, adleast 1 or 2 snowdays a year!. I just think we're moving into the wrong side of marginal more and more every year for cold and snow. but i guess we still have 4 weeks of winter left so im keeping my fingers crossed for something! Im moving to the north midlands soon so.....maybe a better chance of snow there!

wow, what a day..... Cardiff got a pasting! and we were sent home from work too! its all stopped now though

well, the snow is just getting heavier here.. the temp has dropped too.. about 2cm has fallen in the last hour. Luke-

well, all of our snow from yesterday quickly melted away, but i woke up at about 8am and it was snowing but very wet...within an hour it started settling!.. its very heavy snow now

Its coming down at a moderate pace here, snow is settling, id say about 1cm... it should be interesting to see how long this can carry on for L

riteyo!, reports in east cardiff are that they have about 4 inches, 6-8 inches in the south wales valleys and in cardiff city centre i have maybe 2 inches in the deepest parts.. and its still snowing big flakes.. Luke-

moderate wet snow here in cardiff, wind picking up too... this is after a small period of rain, yet there is still plenty of time..

im having the very same problem atm. massive amounts of traffic i guess :s it is filtering through for me eventually though..
