    Just seen dan corbet on 24 latest LIVE forecast and it looked poor for snow here, he is going with the GFS, lots of snow central areas moving ssw as it clears,

    Just my opinion regarding most consistant runs wrt GFS. 00 best, then the 12, then the 06, and then the 18 pub run.

    It will be very cold for at least a week. As for snow, some people are going to be very disappointed. That is the way it goes. As for my area, not expecting much before next wednesday.

    On the 1730 meto radar it looks like a giant cristmas cracker has been pulled :wacko: Just north of london

    Here in RM6 about 3 miles west of romford essex VERY heavy snow over 1 inch in about 20 minutes A bit more to come

    Remember 87 well paul, i lived in barkingside north east london-south west essex and day maxes were -7 but we had no snow at all. 91 gave about 8 inches, same location and last feb gave about 8 as well. So that bit more inland can make a hell of a diff,WRT wind direction and the strength of the flow
