    Well, that's that amazing convective period over (especially for this area), this coming week looks rather bland until next week when we see another area of very warm and humid air move up from the continent bringing thunderstorms.

    Just had another torrential downpour here!

    This cell is incredibly close to here, pouring just a few miles away whilst it's dry and sunny here!

    New torrential downpour developed to the NNE, though no thunder as of yet. Thunder! Loud rumble of thunder just then!

    Thunder has stopped here now the shower has weakened, think that's it today folks. New cell now developing to the north, maybe it's not over yet... Too many downdrafts going on! That shower has completely died out but more cells are developing behind, excitement decreasing now, seems to be too many downdrafts killing the updrafts...

    Cumulonimbus clouds fill the sky to the north now, I hope they can develop further. No more development as far as I can see currently, maybe some thunder soon, looks like they've decided to just rain out. LOL. Ok, now they're intensifying again and there's now a huge Cumulonimbus cloud to my north! Just heard 2 rumbles of thunder to the NNE!

    As Ben said, lots of convection exploding here. Some torrential downpours going east, one was about to electrify but died instead. I don't think there's enough energy for lightning around here today, but convection is still kicking off so not giving up hope yet. Cell just developed to my north heading straight for me, did look good that way I have to say! Just had a rumble of thunder to the SE! Thunderstorm to the SE now! Cumulus Congestus clouds fill the sky to the NNW now!

    Hmm, I think you were in a quiet area of the thunderstorm, it was very active.

    Just had a torrential downpour here! Somerset is getting going once again, this seems very much like a carbon copy to yesterday, bring it on! But, surprised that there hasn't been any lightning yet.

    Had a brief thunderstorm to the SW yesterday evening! Convection is already kicking off, so could be another interesting day for this area again!

    Sort of confused as to why the thunderstorm has now got more intense over the sea, must be intensifying under the sea breeze outflow...

    Just had a spectacular overhead thunderstorm here! Heavy rain, several bright flashes of lightning and loud claps of thunder! I am so happy!
