    Showers starting to develop here now, though everything seems to be flattening out, not a brilliant sign, let's hope it can all clear off for later. Just had a brief moderate rain shower! The rain drops were huge!

    Looks like I'll be either staying put of chasing in Dorset today, it's already gone bang in Somerset and the convection here is crazy, when the sun is out it feels incredibly humid, I reckon this is going to be an amazing day for Devon, Dorset and Somerset!

    Well, for once you'll actually be pleased that I manage to experience at least something, I'll stop moaning now! My jaw dropped when I saw the BBC graphics for tomorrow, bring it on! Looks like a very similar setup today so will most likely be staying put or chasing more local this time, still I think it's nice to watch thunderstorms from a distance so you don't get soaked and you get to see more than if you were in the thunderstorm itself! Still as good if not better!

    Torrential downpours to my NW now probably very close to going bang, the windows are open! NMM shows showers rumbling around well into the evening here.

    Lightning activity seems to have stopped here even though it's continually pouring down, nice cell to my north that may clip me.

    Torrential rain here again, and to be truthful, I was actually at Smeatharpe Airfiled during the thunderstorm here, but even so it was great with the flashes of lightning and rumbles of thunder all around!

    May be an opinion, but factually parameters today are not evident for extreme instability. Anyway, looking better over Exmoor and Somerset once again, but my thinking is that will move south through today.

    Sorry, but I really wouldn't say it's extremely unstable today, torrential downpours with some thunder yes but we're not talking supercells.
