    As usual in the UK most potential cold spells turn into over-complicated marginal pains in the weeble.

    I think weather models are bad for your mental health. ECM was a thing of beauty which is a direct quote from someone, yesterday morning, but then it planted a huge turd of a run in the evening and everyone got the hump.

    When the snow does finally arrive, don't forget to actually go out and enjoy it, because spring and summer will soon follow and we will have to wait until next winter to see it again, if the October Fog Index says yes of course.

    What a lovely spring day. I was out in the garden in my T-shirt and Bermuda Shorts. I cut the grass and planted tomatoes, beans, courgettes, etc. After all, the metrological winter is over, so what could possibly go wrong?

    10 days have passed since I said it will be interesting to see the developments in the models in 10 days' time. What a difference those 10 days have made, you really can now see the effects of the SSW showing up in the models. The next 10 days will also be interesting too, has anyone said 10 days so often in a post before

    I think too much is happening at the moment and the weather models are ready to explode, it would be good if they did, then we can take each day at a time and look through the window at developments instead.

    Cold northerlies with snow showers and rising temperatures. I know their updates like to cover all basis to help protect their weebles from potential embarrassment, but what they write has to be logical at the same time.

    This is what makes this thread so confusing, on one page alone you have posters saying unbelievable charts this morning if you want cold and snow, and other posters saying they don't like where things are going with the cold is being watered down. CONFUSED.COM
