  1. Weather Forecast last night at 8pm by Nina Ridge on BBC News24 Did anyone else notice that she constantly talked about what was coming in the South Eastern counties for today.. As the time was progressing over the British Isles, you could see that the cloud cover for today in and around Yorkshire and Humber was patchy at times, as well as some brief sunny intervals. Alas though, we never got a mention. It was all about the South Eastern counties etc. We have had a top temperature of 21C at 2.30pm, and a very light overnight shower. We did see thye sun briefly at times throught the day. Note to BBC weather forecasters: The Yorkshire and Humber areas do have different weather sometimes, and it would be nice to be told beforehand.
  2. Mostly Cloudy this morning, but gradually breaking up to give long sunny periods in the afternoon. There has also been a slight breeze from the SE/SW. Max Temp 26.2C at 4.15PM Min Temp 10.4C at 01.50AM
  3. Leeds average so far for July is 16.3C, down 6 degrees on the 30 year average. We have had 5 days where the temperature was up by 4 degress C on the average.

  5. Monday and Tuesday here are forecasted to be mostly cloudy with possible showers, and the temperature at around 20C. Maybe it will only be snowing darn sarf!
  6. We had a small amount oif rain overnight, given that we were supposed to be drenched in it, and has been dry all day. This morning we had 20mph gusts with the average at 11mph. Then in the afternoon, the sun came out, but just briefly, and it just went dull and dark all of a sudden. Again we have had 22mph gusts, and I see that there has been some superficial wind damage to bushes and small trees. Yes, just like October, but with a temeprature of 18C today.
  7. Well, again it was given to be a wet day here, but the rain came early morning, and almost stopped by 9am. Following that it was still cool with NNW breeze. April has been the best month so far, with the average just about 1.5C over the 30 year average of 13C, while the average for this month is -1C below the 30 year average of 16C
  8. Yes the weather for next weekend certyainly looks better than of late. With higher temperatures and dry with it, I expect it to be good. On todays weather where it was forecast to be the best day of the weekend, I dread to think what the rest of the week will be like. I was cloudy almost all day, with a medium cool wind blowing in from the N/NNE. Oh and top temperature of just 15.6C, which is a few degrees down on normal end of May Temps
  9. Yesterday was pretty cool with full cloud cover and a sharp cool breeze, and by 4pm the max temp was only 14C, but by 6pm it was 16.7C. yes, the sun came out and it was not so breezy. Today was mostly cloudy in the morning with some sporadic sunshine, but the afternoon turned into a lovely sunny one with top temp at 18.3C as the cloud dispersed to almost a cloudless sky. It has been like 2 seasons in 2 different days!
  10. Not a bad day at all today considering rain was forecast. It was manly cloudy this morning, and partially cloud mid afternoon with some nice warm sunshine.

  13. Just rain, rain and more rain from early am through to about 16.30hrs. During that perion the temperature dropped from 10.2C at 8am to 9.1C at 1pm. Then when it stopped raining the temperature went up to 11.4C. It was also quite cool and windy at times, which seems to be a feature of the last 4 months. Forecast for tomorrow here is dry and bright with some sun.
  14. Its been very mild here today in Leeds, just like a spring day even! The rest of the week is et to be quite cool by comparison. A drop of about 4C is forecast.
  15. Its been quiet windy here as well today with gusts up to 26.5 MPH around mid day. The sun was out as well earlier and it looked quiet nice outdoors, till the wind hit you!

  19. Coldest here was this morning with a temperature of 6.7C at 4.50AM. Strangley enough even though the Max temperature was lower today than Sunday and Monday, it felt a lot warmer with the abscence of any wind.
  20. Just a couple of squally showers here today, with some sunshine, particularly in the afternoon. The wind speed maxed out at 21mph at 11:19 am, and now is mostly light winds of upto 9 or 10mph.
  21. It felt a bit wamer today with 21.7C earlier this afternoon. The lack of the NE wind made all the difference.
