    This morning started out with no or next to little cloud, and very sunny. The cloud was starting to build up by mid afternoon, and so couple with a cool breeze now and again , it was a welcome relief from the baking sun. The top temperature here was 28.1C at 2.15pm with humidity at 46%

    A cloudy start again this morning, but the heat of the sun soon melted away the clouds, and by mid afternoon, there was hardly a cloud in the sky to be seen. The top temprature was 27.1C with humidity at 48%

    We have had rain for almost all of the day so far, with a top temperature of 20.3C. The rain has just stopped now and the sun is trying to get out.

    Just in case Leeds is included in this thread, it has rained more or less all day here so far, and I do believe the sun is now trying to come out. Typically it does this at the end of the day. The max temp here: 20.3C

    Rain most of the morning here, light at times, with no wind to speak of. Temp at 11.30: 19.2C, and the baromerter is rising slowly, as the rain has almost stopped now.

    Just 21.2 here at 4pm. Today has been very cloudy from early morning onwards, with a heavy shower around mid morning. A rather different day today from yesterday and what was forecast for here.

    The top temperature here today was 21.2, with a short burts of heavy rain mid morning, and with a stiff NE breeze. Rather different in reality to what was actually forecast. I think somone had better alter the Leeds temperatures for today on the 7 day forecast, as its showing something like 27/29 with blazing sunshine. I wish it was.

    Rather cloudy and dull at times here this morning, but mild enough at 17C approx

    Average daytime temperatures here are just 0.4C above the 30 year average, but if I include the average overnight temperatures , the average then is 17.3C.

    For displaying weather data, I use Weather Display, and have used it for a number of years. I also have a Davis Vantage Vue, which is connected by USB to my Windows PC

    Wow, more than 2 days without rain! That must be a record in itself, lol I hope that it is that way as I would like to get into the garden to do some soil shifting after I installed a new boundary fence.

    Here in this part of the country we had 94mm for January, and so far this month there has been 53mm, which gives a total of 147mm so far this year. The average rainfall for here is 59mm for January and 48mm for February.

    Just had gusts of 34.5mph within the last half hour.

    Rain, rain and more bloody rain. Out of interest, I have recorded 93.8mm here this month compared to an average of 59mm. And another 'remarkable' thing is we have just 3 DRY days.

    What ios this white stuff people are on about, not seen a drop of anything today. I will mark this down as an official DRY day, which is the 3rd one this month!

    Yesterday's national forcast for today, showed a band of rain sweeping accross from the west to hit us by mid morning, and then lasting till about 5pm. It never happened, and it has been a lovely afternoon here. That's 2 days that has happened, as again, the national forcast said more or less the same would happen on Friday, but it didn't

    On a slightly different note, I have just counted the number of days this month when it has not rained at some time in the 24hour period, and I counted just 2 days. So we have had some rain on 24 of the 26 days so far this month. Could this be some sort of record.
