  1. Looking very potent now only 5 days away. When first saw it 9 days from it hitting I just felt it will be blip error or it will shift away. Yet the thing hardly moved or weakened in the runs. Still time though.
  2. big squall line on met weather. Thin line of red rain dropping from Scotland effecting everyone tomorrow
  3. Thanks Liam think just slightly moved north the highest winds was going through the Humber before. I am sure going to downgrade.
  4. terrier at least there plenty of time and runs for downgrades. Whats the record low for UK
  5. Don't entity disagree but when not a lot happening other news could be focused like they used too then go back or cut in if things develop. Anyway back on topic and draw a line. We had 42 mph last night just been looking at Lightening Wizard they say middle band of strong convective winds could be likely from 6pm. Are there charts old or latest development.
  6. Polar they spent good hour showing nothing but police standing there twiddling there thumps and just kept repeating stuff they could just reported the storm and easily could cut back if anything went down. Agreed Ritchie V sad what gone on but there is other stuff too.
  7. Can we then ignore the 62 mph gusts for here if met think its more north sadly for those badly hit already. I been disgusted at the news more interested in france than what happened from the storm. You would guaranteed they would been all over it if south had 100 mph + winds. I see XCW wind forecast just getting the 15th one in shot some serious winds hitting Ireland next wednesday.
  8. Me too cookie. Missed Hudson weather report any mention to latest North Lincolnshire.
  9. I looked at earth wind model, looks like it will interact with strong storm off Greenland. Models suggests it feeds off it this and suggest it get much stronger ass it passes near Iceland. Time will tell if they are right
  10. Don't sound good if it is shift slightly south. I noticed our gust Friday morning increased to 66 mph. Pales in significance to what will happen in worse areas effected.
  11. I have zero obsticle the direction wind we getting 15 to 20 mph and 38 mph gusts so far. Should be 49 mph gusts not really far off. Could be they may got time frame wrong as the storm not moving fast as anticipated.
  12. Knocker that second chart that looks me might create storm surge in the North Sea. Am I reading this wrong Mapantz Scotland could soon create a bondi beach if we keep getting phenominal waves just shame weather not as warm.
  13. Stay safe Liam also others who in worst effected areas. Our paper over bigging the winds here saying 70 mph for the weekend, then again might not be bad thing people might listen and take precautions. Had argument yesterday with a friend who said a bit wind wont stop him going out and he said hurricane force winds don't hit UK. Ignorance of people today just cant warn them of the dangers. Anybody else get the same problem with family and friends.
  14. right bullseye here Got hope it downgrades just glad its too far to be accurate. Are all these storms feeding each other
  15. Our high tides nearly 7 m at present here. Would think there small chance coastline flooding if the swell becomes significant, read could be facing 4 m + in north sea. East coast here still inline for some high winds though it seem to sway from 52 mph to 68 mph with each run. Weathermaster one run seems to show increase in winds near newcastle.
  16. Thanks Daniel wiki not great accuracy has low level at 142 mph in Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire 15 feb 1989. Thanks Liam lets hope not for Western islanders sake.
  17. Thats just insane is that isle of mull in its firing line.
  18. starting to get nervy, although thankfully not in worst area in Scotland, we are now in the red zone, previous runs was orange. Just seems friday run for the east coast moving further south run after run.
  19. Looking at Mapanz post winds there convergence in Lincolnshire. What could happen increase Winds ?, Squall line ?.
  20. Lincs, Norfolk, Suffolk and Kent certainly would get really bad situation on current models. I am preying for over egged system at the moment else I will need a boat for christmas.
