Small tornado damaged a single story building and cars

This is the one that I'm waiting for.

I have to admit, this possibility of snow in the South caught me by surprise! I was just expecting another wet and windy spell.
-
Just getting gnarly here as a storm comes through. Strongest gusts I've seen so far (though I missed anything this morning).
-
It's the calm before the storm here in London! Although i am not sure how bad it is going to get down south! No breeze no rain, very quiet!
I don't think we'll get the strongest winds till Tuesday afternoon.

I've been following it and I'm in London. Just not much I can say at this point as I'm not an expert on forecasting.
-
Yep, might be interesting Monday/ Tuesday, though I think we'll escape the worst of it here.
-
Are we likely to see much of the remnants of Hurricane Fay reaching the UK next week?
-
Just popped out to the shops, and spotted a well defined storm front approaching from the SE. I'm kicking myself for not grabbing my camera and taking a pic then, as by the time I'd got back it was obscured by the block of flats. Looks big though. No sferics or rain yet.
-
Wow, that photo is stunning!
-
Looks like we've got it now. Been piddling it down for the last 5 mins or so, and a big crack of thunder.
-
Just had a rumble of thunder here.
-
I'm trying to decide if it's worth staying awake for a little longer incase anything reaches London, but I've got to get up at a decent time to do a photoshoot tomorrow.
The IOW seems to be getting all the fun right now
-
EDIT: Sferics already detected to the SW of the UK.
Yeah, looks like it's heading up towards the Bristol Channel and Wales.
-
plus the parks around here are full of weirdos!
That'll be me!

Raining here but not heavily, and not much more than a breeze, but then I wasn't expecting London to get hit very hard with this. Perfect weather for a nice quiet walk in the park
-
Yeah, it'll be aaaaages before it reaches London.
Although I'm not a fan of the cold, I'm actually kind of looking forward to it being a bit cooler.
-
Yeah, the Beeb have mentioned a possibility of imports from the continent on Monday night into Eastern England, but I think it's a case of wait and see. It's certainly warm and a little humid for this time of the year here in London.
-
Some beautiful photos of the lightning from last night's storms on the BBC News website;
-
Not a drop of rain here in NW London! Sunny and humid, feels like July! Did you get storms last night, had mine in the early hours!
Yep, had a cracker of a storm last night at about 2.40am- long rolling booming thunder, and bright lightning, plus heavy rain. Must of gone on for about an hour or so. Was the perfect lullaby to drift off to sleep to.
It's gone back to hot and humid here too, so I'm wondering if I'll get to be really lucky and get another show tonight.

I was in Tower Hamlets at time (next to Victoria Park), which seems to have been the place to be at the time.
You probably weren't very far away from me then, as I live next to Vicky Park.
-
This one's not over yet- fresh towers quickly blossoming to the north of me.
-
Well, that was an unexpected storm. Rumbling thunder, torrential rain with hail mixed in and strong gusts.
My balcony has flooded and I'm soggy from the knees down! Still thunder and rain ATM, and it's heading eastwards.
-
Just had a couple of rumble of thunder here in East London, even though the radar shows no storm.
