    I would agree it has drag from NO now which will slow it down. I think the people in that jam near the bus crash will be in line for a bit of a dousing and a windy night because they look as if they will not be moving very much

    Just a news update:- Parts of Manchester Airport have been closed a man was found near stand 26 acting suspciously when police attempted to arrest him he resisted and a tazer was used. The army bomb disposal team have been bought in and the area cordened off. Scary :o

    not me saying it! there's a high pressure which could stall it and give tropical storm status to it if it heads back down to houston. Something about it being trapped by two high pressures. But then you guys know i am no forcaster so info may be a bit sketchy

    click 2 houston news are comparing this storm to Alison and thinks it may stall over Huston and move back towards sea.

    landfall 4am to 6 am i think Sat with poss 12ft to 20 ft storm surge in High Island/ beumont

    Approved evacuation routes jammed and now they are saying some of these people will poss be in the line of the storm with no petrol in their tanks no air con and no way to get to saftey. Yet another mess up.
