    See i told you all so oil prices up and we will end up paying more for our petrol because of this storm so get your cans an fill up cause if petrol goes up much more i can see some fanatics causing a revolt like the last petrol shortage. Better safe than sorry.

    not the end just lots of work to build it up again. I pity all those people who will lose items they cannot replace like photos and sentimental stuff. Pets, livestock and of course the wildlife. If anybody has planned to go to New Orleans for christmas then it may well be off limits.

    Just seen on Fox news that oil rigs have been shut so that means that fewer barrels of oil will be produced thereby forcing price of crude oil up which will pos force our petrol prices up.

    update just said that no one will be turned away they just have to be patient. estimate 100 000 still to get to shelter.

    everybody who needed to be evacuated was told to go the people left have stayed because they chose not to go. They have to put disabled who can't leave first then maybe they will allow others in after. anyway i think if there is a que outside the superbowl when this storm hits then they will just allow everybody in.

    I think that the effects of this will be seen before 9am as the rain bands are hitting NO now so flooding a real poss before it hits.

    I'm going to have to try and stay awake to follow all this up on Fox news. Problem is that the storm will hit around 04:00am here. Those lucky Americans get it early in the evening Are you for real paranoid. Do you realy think they are lucky? You must be mad My freids got blasted in Miami when Katrina hit at Cat 1 and they were battered good and proper. I would not feel very lucky if this was heading to me. How old are you? Maybe you should rephrase your statement.

    Hi had rain at 3.15pm today then it turned to snow for a while at 3.15 ground got wet skies cleared and sun came out at about 3.25pm END

    Hi wind picked up about 5pm now blowing a hooly outside. Some drizzle in the air ground wet and quite mild. Don't know iwnd speed as don't have a weather station. ^_^ B)
