  1.  In Absence of True Seasons

    Quote

It's miserable to traipse around the Cotswolds or Lakes or Cornish coast for a solid week of 13c and drizzle lol. No matter how high your wellies are.

absolutely, I love finding a nice stye to sit on whilst having a lovely view of the countryside and hearing just the noises of the birds and unfortunately the sounds of cars in the background (but could be worse sounds) and just relaxing there, not having to worry about bugs or any possibly dangerous animals. I mean just yesterday i took a picture of a regular place I go to for the view and peace. But our constant bad weather prevents such lovely time outs that it gives many people SAD and when the lovely weather is there I have to get out fast like I'm late for a doctor's appointment when you shouldn't need to do that

btw that brightness in the distance is sun haze when the sun was able to break through for a bit, I didn't have my brightness on max 😄

  2.  Frigid yes i know there has been snow in march and april but it's completely useless due to the sun having warmth to it now, you''ll get about a max of 3 days if you're really fortunate with the snow and that is it because the temperatures are now higher then in december and January and that to me isn't a "winter" and also march and april are going into spring not going back into winter, so you'll have to be a lottery winner of model outputs if you want to get a winter sign back (and for it to stick from day 10 to day 1)

Also as many other people said by the headlines its turning milder and wetter which is saddening truth with how winters are nowadays with maybe the odd one or few days of something wintery happening (mainly in the highlands). I admire the motivation coldies have on here because i couldn't do it for that long, but there should be a point in them to think "ok it's been long enough now this winter and it's shown itself that this was a bust and is just tiring trying to find that one hope to pop up just to dimmish the next day".

Looks like the first signs of a potential Spanish plume are showing up in the fl models... in February.

funny, I had a dream today of southern France reaching 36c in february. What a strange thing to see from having that dream 😅
