this morning looks much better than yesterday, yesterday was atrocious, it literally was a late autumn day IN JULY. everything was damp and had to wear a hoodie

Not yet anyway, very heavy for a non thundery shower though. Still have no existent light rain here, watching this moving slowly across not my north.
looks like it's raining itself out now so it's likely nothing thundery will come out of it

Yeah just looked at radar, think there's a convergence like yesterday, so cloud gets to us, then builds showers. Some heavy ones about moving this way, not sure where the light rain on radar is coming from though, as at the minute then sun is out, and it is dry. Shower will get here soon though.
yeah it's a torrential downpour but no thunder yet

I don’t get the people in the models output thread getting so depressed with the outlooks, yes it can be much better but can be very much worse. I’m sure many places here have had non-summery conditions and i thought here would be terrible, but these past few days have actually been fine.
The wind is the only thing i can say is a bit annoying but the weather has been fine here with a few showers now and then but right now it’s brilliant sunshine and barely a cloud in the sky.
only around 3 days ago it was overcast with the wind there but that has been it with it being fair skies since then.
there has been a few heavy downpours today but we really need it here from not having so that was fine.
But yeah it really not been that bad
here is actually two pics i took yesterday to show a friend who loves the landscape

oh boy, i've just woken up shortly and when I looked out of my window there is already big cumulus clouds around me

Can see flashes from my house right now at 1am, i was wondering what was flashing out of my window and it must be that cell east of Deal giving off from time to time some lightning

nothing here just overcast skies and incredibly humid, it does look like some rain creeping up from the south but having low hopes anything will come out of it
-
the showers here looked pretty dark, i bet if it was 30 degrees or so they would've been great thunderstorms

feel like we've gone back to May now with a constant cold wind again, whilst there might not be rain when that sun goes in it is freezing if you're in that wind. I don't care if it's in the low 20s it still is nice and pleasant in the sun, that wind needs to f off until it suited for autumn

Rather a dull day here, especially this afternoon with a leaden grey sky. Felt comfortable outdoors though with a max of 22C at 3 pm. Spent a fascinating 5 mins watching this stag beetle marching around the garden before it disappeared into the undergrowth. A good 2 inches in size and sporting a very nice hand stitched leather jacket. I wouldn't want to argue with it.
wow i've never seen a male stag beetle, I always just kept finding females, lucky you

Unsettled for the north, cloudy, average temps and barely any rain for the south, it’s literally becoming like an semi arid climate down here in parts of the south, we have barely had 1 inch (25mm) of rain here in 2 months.
We’ve been lucky down here for sun and temps but if Olathe weathers going to change at least do it properly, rain I don’t mind but boring cloud with barely any wet stuff no thanks
indeed, when summer arrives, the far southeast goes from being a grassland to an arid climate almost every year

utterly pathetic here, wrote it in the SE thread but it was a complete disappointment, only had heavy rain and one bit of thunder and now it's all clearing away
-
welp that was pathetic, just had one bit of lightning with average sounding thunder and now it's all brightening up again
-
nothing here just rain
-
gotten really dark here
-
been woken up early due to heat but also heard what i believe was a rumble outside my house but looking at the radar, I expect to catch the tail end of the rain and nothing more
