Just a heads up, someone on reddit made a post with a bunch of livestreams for Hurricane Ian including news stations Livestreams and news stations

the last 2 days outside haven't been that bad due to that wind not being there so much, I even managed to take off my hoodie and just stick in my t-shirt back at home when It got in close to dinner time but still wearing a thermal vest. I've packed away my fan and all my pyjama shorts and pyjama t-shirts as that seems to be the end of them this year, I'm still wearing my dressing gown in the morning though and that's no going to change until late spring arrives when temperatures start to warm up again (hopefully another hot summer like this year's one)

it's only been a couple of days since we had good heat and my body is already crying missing the warmth we've had, I can't believe about a week ago I was wearing just a t-shirt and yesterday I had trousers, thermal vest, shirt, thick hoodie and a light jacket on. Whilst in the sun it was very nice but that wind is evil and the worst type of wind, it isn't strong like a storm nor is it gentle, it's that annoying nagging wind that doesn't know went to stop nor if it wants to be strong or not, just needs to bugger off

nothing interesting weather wise today except a lovely sunny day (minus the wind) and took this behind st mary ebony church

been out to folkstone today and that wind is freezing i'm so glad I got my thermal vest on and a hoodie otherwise i'd be an igloo, but got a few nice pics and yes that second image has been heavily edited to try and get the naked eye view of what I saw as everyone knows how hard it is to get an image of what a view is like when the sun is shining behind a cloud

Had a few showers (one heavy) coming back from folkstone and there was one big cumulus cloud I saw on top of the hills but location wise was difficult to get a good pic of it, But when we came back I did go out and got a shot of a rain shaft with a rainbow

It isn't difficult because everyone is comfortable at different temperatures, for example for me anything below 18c is chilly and I don't been shivering all over (that's below 15c), I mean I can get shivers in the shade as soon as the sunshine goes in which anyone doesn't like. The only good thing happening right now with the temperatures is that your room will cool down pretty quickly at night so you'll have a more comfortable sleep. But besides that I'd love to have more heat

well that squall was quite pathetic, I did hear some loud-ish thunder in the distance but only a couple of times and when the squall came through, the winds were no different then an average winter atlantic storm. Oh well it's nice to hear the rain outside.

Looks like I'm in the direct path for this line of storms coming off the channel, I hope it's as good as yesterday's storms

well, what was going to be a 17min thunderstorm recording turned into a 26min video due to an hour later after the first storm, another came over and now I've recorded 2 videos of both of the storms and now they're uploaded to youtube I hope you guys enjoy the video because I can say I enjoyed the storms as well, also sorry about all the moving around 5 mins in, I started to get wet from my window sill so I had to close the window whilst still recording without trying to woble too much.

omgg a surprise storm came bashing into my area and boy was it mad!!! it must've heard me talking bad about them earlier on, oh well, I've just recorded 17mins of the storm and i'm sure glad I did, great flashes of lightning, angry thunder and a LOT of rain. I'll be definitely uploading the video later on when it's day time

that must've been the flash I actually saw under my blinds by my window about 5mins ago, loud thunder I heard from that flash

sounds about right for people living in Kent, one part can have the action and the other half is like living in a different climate

well what I thought might be a second chance looking at the radar, it seems that new cell is dying off as it's heading towards me

well that was completely laughable, giving me quite frequent lightning close by with some small rumbles of thunder but didn't even get hit I mean call me unlucky chrome_G3RX8NJ3ei.mp4

having quite frequent flashes all around me now with some small bit of thunder from time to time and now the wind is starting to pick up, if it starts to get more intense then I'd have to record it but for now its more of a watch event then a recording one for me edit: lol talk about nature avoiding you

looks like a storm is heading my direction and the same area as yesterday's night storm was. Though this time (for now) the lightning is brighter but only faint rumbling i'm hearing for now from it due to distance

well from my experience from yesterday, just before getting into be there was a few (about 15) flashes in the distance behind my house the wind picked up and became more frequent which actually was helpful as my room was all hot As I turned my light out about 20 mins later, 2 quick heavy showers came over our house within i'd say 50mins or an hour later I had 3 rumbles of thunder in the distance But after that I fell asleep and here we are now. So all in all it was nothing, hope today is better which by the forecast, im more in the storm zone today

I’m just laying in my bed and about to go to sleep but i’ve been seeing lightning outside my bedroom window from time to time and looking at the radar, it seems that’s all i’m going to get. But the wind seems to be picking up and getting more frequent

Its just lovely blue skies here in Folkstone, but over France is this group of cumulus clouds just hanging there over it
