    It was an amazing summer, though I was on holiday for all of June which when I came back I saw on the forums that it's been pretty wet. After I returned, it just been very dry which is just how I like it, I do enjoy a good storm like most people here but in general I love it to just be very warm/hot majority of the time which this summer has definitely succeeded this year and hope (doomer vibe) that we get more summers likes this where a summer is called a summer and nothing like winter summer (cough 2012)

    completely missed us here and my dad said we received not one drop of rain, at least that makes it better for travelling

    not a thing here, wasn't expecting thunder or lightning but at least heavy rain but we didn't even had that

    so are we finished this year for full sunny skies because since last week we've not had one day here when the skies have stayed clear all day

    lovely morning, just hope it stays like this unlike yesterday which was completely ruined by cloud

    oh great overcast skies and straight away it's making me feel miserable, that's the nice weather gone but hope we get more blue skies later this week.

    I know this is off topic and not UK related, but wow, just saw this image in Hagerstown, MD of these swirling clouds which makes you literally think of the movies of a hurricane forming on land

    agree with that, we had a few spits and spots at first and then one torrential downpour around 4pm which when leaving became a storm . But besides that we had nothing else.

    Recorded a short clip of the thunder, though it’s unfortunate it started when the torrential rain had passed over so its not on top of us IMG_4352.MOV

    torrential rain here just now, i'm right next to that big white blob next to ashford. Hoping to get a sudden flash out of nowhere to finally be able to record something

    Barely any rain here today, but like others have said, there is a lot of flashing in that storm off the east coast as im seeing it here in the skies in Ashford. Too bad I’m surrounded by houses and it’s late for me to record it which im sure there are people here who have a much better view of the lightning.

    yep, that's all i've had today is short-lived light showers, no heavy nor thundery showers

    almost sounded magical getting up and opening the windows hearing rain falling on the leaves of the trees, feels like years since we got any now

    Can't remember the last time i've started sweating so early in the day. The last few days have been definitely more humid heat then dry heat like we had in July.

    I know this isn't to do with the UK but is part of our dry weather, but this was a pic of Po River in northern italy I saw yesterday and it made me awe
