  1. so glad i'm going on holiday for 2 weeks at the end of this month, to a place where the weather is much nicer and if it's not for one day, it will be back to normal the next
  2. Outside having a walk now to see if there is anything weather wise that would be nice to take a pic of and when i went past the playground, the hail on the slides have made all icicles on them as if we’ve just had an ice storm which is a first to see also looks like another load is coming over but I don’t expect it to be like the first one
  3. just had thunder, lightning and hail also had a big lightning strike in the distance just now
  4. getting a few cells heading my way now and seeing this cell starting to shower out
  5. yesterday was the first day i sat and stretched myself out on our lounger in just a T-SHIRT and it was lovely, it gave the sign that summer is coming and it makes me happy
  6. whilst no rain is predicted today, the sky is a classical april look, sunshine with nice bubbly cumulus clouds
  7. Got my eyes on what i presume is the heavy shower southwest of ashford, its behind some woods right now but i got a nice open view beside the woods. if it still looking good i might take a pic
  8. I believe i’ve got my eyes on that heavy shower southwest of ashford, once it moves over a bit, i might be able to capture it. Right now it’s behind some woods
  9. can we throw that one in the bin and keep with the high pressure charts
  10. still sunny here for now though high cloud is coming over, it's funny, usually when it gets warmer you're meant to be getting less stuff out to put on but due to that horrible cold wind but lovely sunny skies, it has made me have to wear more and I look like i don't know what i'm doing outside wearing a coat, vest and winter hat and yet i got my sunglasses on, i look like an oddball but nature seems to have realised "oh yeah i forgot the uk is still experiencing winter weather" and now it's (hopefully) changing to actual spring weather. The only part of the day i was just in my hoodie was back from folkstone (yes that's why i was wearing a vest, coat and winter hat) and that was me sitting in our sun trap in the garden on our lounger.
  11. first time this year i sat on our lounger outside because it was a sun trap where the wind didn't hit
  12. oh we had a few hose pipe bans but we never did anything with the hoses, by the drought i meant when we go out for countryside walks and the ground is so hard you need a pickaxe to make a dent in the dirt
  13. yeah i don't agree with the drought and sweltering temperatures, as a warmie myself we have gotten high temperatures many times and droughts (just like last year) in Kent
  14. much more interesting though then the constant dull and cold weather we've been having
  15. you and me both, if they want cold weather that badly, then they should be planning to move to a colder place
  16. first time this year i was able to sit on my stye facing the countryside, whilst that wind still has a chill to it when the sun goes behind the clouds, as soon as that cloud goes past you can feel yourself warming up quickly. Though i'm still wearing a coat, t-shirt, vest and thick trousers. It will have to warm up quite a bit (lows 20s) for me to just be in a jumper
