  1. what a lovely wint- i mean summer's day
  2. this morning looks much better than yesterday, yesterday was atrocious, it literally was a late autumn day IN JULY. everything was damp and had to wear a hoodie
  3. looks like it's raining itself out now so it's likely nothing thundery will come out of it
  4. unfortunately there has been no thunder/lightning from it
  5. yep those huge clouds are over me and are giving me a torrential downpour but there has been no thunder yet
  6. opposite here, it has gotten very dark and now it's raining really big raindrops making splashes as it hits my window
  7. skies have gotten very dark here and now it's raining with proper big raindrops
  8. I don’t get the people in the models output thread getting so depressed with the outlooks, yes it can be much better but can be very much worse. I’m sure many places here have had non-summery conditions and i thought here would be terrible, but these past few days have actually been fine. The wind is the only thing i can say is a bit annoying but the weather has been fine here with a few showers now and then but right now it’s brilliant sunshine and barely a cloud in the sky. only around 3 days ago it was overcast with the wind there but that has been it with it being fair skies since then. there has been a few heavy downpours today but we really need it here from not having so that was fine. But yeah it really not been that bad here is actually two pics i took yesterday to show a friend who loves the landscape
  9. Got some nice cumulus clouds outside my window right now
  10. oh boy, i've just woken up shortly and when I looked out of my window there is already big cumulus clouds around me
  11. Can see flashes from my house right now at 1am, i was wondering what was flashing out of my window and it must be that cell east of Deal giving off from time to time some lightning
  12. nothing here just overcast skies and incredibly humid, it does look like some rain creeping up from the south but having low hopes anything will come out of it
  13. the showers here looked pretty dark, i bet if it was 30 degrees or so they would've been great thunderstorms
  14. feel like we've gone back to May now with a constant cold wind again, whilst there might not be rain when that sun goes in it is freezing if you're in that wind. I don't care if it's in the low 20s it still is nice and pleasant in the sun, that wind needs to f off until it suited for autumn
  15. There we go Scorching two-week heatwave to hit UK as temperatures 'set to soar to 40C' WWW.LBC.CO.UK Brits are being told to prepare for a heatwave next month - and it could last as long as two weeks.
  16. indeed, when summer arrives, the far southeast goes from being a grassland to an arid climate almost every year
  17. utterly pathetic here, wrote it in the SE thread but it was a complete disappointment, only had heavy rain and one bit of thunder and now it's all clearing away
  18. welp that was pathetic, just had one bit of lightning with average sounding thunder and now it's all brightening up again
  19. been woken up early due to heat but also heard what i believe was a rumble outside my house but looking at the radar, I expect to catch the tail end of the rain and nothing more
  20. Got some small convection here but doubt anything happening here with it
