    After looking at the lightning map there is some action down in France but right in the far south, when are the real fireworks meant to start?

    I think the reason the south east was removed is because there is a lot less certainty about it, but there is more potential

    That makes sense since the meto's job is more to warn people of flooding and estofex is specifically thunderstorms

    Why is the estofex warning for the south east, yet the metoffice exclude the south east?

    I see that too, I think it's the rotation from the low pressure system catching the northernmost part
