I'm in a good location if anything does come up from the south but from what i remember last year we had this scenario at least 3 times and every time we just got a lot of rain overnight while the supercellular storms would continue trundling down eastwards along the northern Eueopean coast rather than crossing the channel...is there anything different about tonight?
Very jealous hearing about anyone getting any thundery stuff today considering that here on the south coast all we have is the murk that we become accustomed to at this time of year...however tomorrow night does look decent for here
I like the sound of that! Just had a nice little storm pass through with 6 cgs clear from my bedroom window, was tempted to record but din't want to leave my room Sounds like I'll have more chances later!
Don't say that I went away on the 16th of July so I missed the biggest storm night for many years in Brighton and I haven't even seen a storm this year!
You don't often see it completely still down by the coast here, but it is tonight...
