Sweet! Some very interesting structure in that one. Wouldn't have been surprised if it created a funnel!

Thunderstorm videos and images
Pursuer of Storms replied to Thunderbolt_'s topic in Archived weather photography area
Some great shots and videos here guys. Here's a few I got this evening. Wasn't at all as violent as the storms of yesterday but still pretty spectacular. Some very interesting clouds too. Think I may have got a wall cloud in some of them but not completely sure. http://forum.netweather.tv/gallery/album/1575-milton-keynes-thunderstorm-19th-july-2014/ -

Not an expert but I think this might be a wall cloud. Anyone agree/disagree? -

Been a good day so far for storms here. Two in the early hours with stunning cloud-to-cloud strikes and the odd cloud-to-ground and another cell has just gone by with some loud booming rumbles.

Can't wait to see how many strikes were picked up on the radar today. Gotta be the most strikes in one day for this year surely?

I'm liking what I see on the radar. 596 strikes and all but three seem to be coming from one big storm. Have a feeling it might die off by the time it reaches the south coast though but could be wrong. I'm not an expert!

Storm and convective discussion 7th July Onwards
Pursuer of Storms replied to Jane Louise's topic in Storms & Severe Weather
These are the best shots I managed to get. Sorry about them being a bit dark. If you need to edit them that's fine http://forum.netweather.tv/gallery/album/1567-funnel-cloud-over-milton-keynes/ Very humid here at the moment. I think we could be in some some pretty good ones tomorrow! -
Storm and convective discussion 7th July Onwards
Pursuer of Storms replied to Jane Louise's topic in Storms & Severe Weather
Hi all. My first post here! Was travelling through Milton Keynes tonight and think I may have got a funnel cloud at around 9pm. Was there for about half a minute before it disappeared. I saw something very similar near a small cell close to home last year but that turned out to be a scud cloud and I guess this could be one too. Still, it looked pretty cool whatever it was! Had some big rain a few minutes later. I have got some pics. Just need to figure out how to attach them
