Not sure I agree with that, last nights 18z' GEFS were looking pretty good. With that in mind I went to bed pleased but I seem to have woken up with a bloody nose , not as good though trending in the right direction but certainly less members smelling ice and snow -

I pointed out the other day about the lack of eye candy , that certainly isn't the case now, showing the models are starting to sniff something out -

Missed the point At least if eye candy charts are on view it shows something the models are toying with something , currently there is absolutely nothing . I have a feeling we could be chasing the end of the rainbow -

The thing that stands out to me is that aren't even any eye candy charts to look at . Im certainly hoping for some to start viewing through the xmas period -

I totally see your point and yes of course we all have opinions which on many occasion will differ but by saying we have had little in the way of cold on December 13th is a tad early , if this were the end of Jan or into Feb I get your point. We had cold weather at the very end of Autumn which gave good frosts and chilly days. And as I say the reliable is only at 120 if we are being honest , I think giving what the very knowledgeable on here say as well as other outlets we will get some of the white stuff this Winter ………………..just my opinion of course . -

Good job the 'experts' don't take that view , they use the LR models for their forecasts , they can't just ignore them . Maybe a new way of forecasting will be " look out the window , see what you got " -

Being a fellow Gooner I hope you are more optimistic about tonight I have to say the back ground signals for this Winter signal blocking that could ( note could not will ) favour the UK. Seems yourself and C Fawkes are in a lonely camp -

Darren ( Retron ) from TWO has mentioned Mogreps - if you want an idea look at UKMO 144 as Darren has said out to 5 days its cold thereafter nothing great for coldies -

Some realism for any newbies HP is holding off the Atlantic but a strong bitter Easterly isn't on the cards , the most favourable option is something from the West eventually with average temps IMO of course UKMO 144 has the Atlantic held off so a chilly breeze from Europe . -

If you catch it quick enough and flick from the 0z to the 6z there really isn't much difference if I'm being honest .
