  1. Another clear and sunny start to the day here, although clouded over this afternoon around 3pm and was trying to drizzle around 5pm this evening. Reached a low of 4.9C around 6:30am and a high of 11.4C around 1:30pm today. Currently fluctuating around 7.8C/7.9C
  2. I've been looking everywhere for this. Now I've forgotten why I wanted it.
  3. Currently at 11.1C here and still rising. A lovely sunny day, beautiful crisp morning. Reached a low of 5.5C last night which was the warmest night of November so far.
  4. Thanks for the info SS, on that basis I've updated my sig.
  5. Fantastic photos and really hard to make a choice. However my votes are: Steve De4 - 3 Potsy - 2 MPR - 2 Kar99 - 2 Hemlock - 1
  6. What is really exceptional is that this has happened so soon....in my lifetime. I expect we all expected this to happen sometime, but not necessarily now. In the seventies you would never have expected to see anything like this and although thats 20 years ago its an extremely short space of time in the grand scheme of things. Whos to say what is round the corner. I'd like to think I'll be pushing up the daisies before any serious repercussions were felt, but now I'm not so sure.
  7. Snap! 10.2C here too. Been sunny today but feeling rather chilly. Not sure if thats the weather or just me.
  8. I'm a little confused so if someone can put me straight that would be great. If we go to bed with a ground frost at night and wake up with a ground frost in the morning, is that recorded as yesterday or todays frost. I suppose you could record it as both, but wouldn't that then be recording it twice? Having just started taking records, I really want to get it right so any pointers would be great. Thanks.
  9. Good link, thanks weathercam, if I'm on later I'll pop by for another look. Currently 10.6C here.
  10. Hovered between 1.0C and 0C last night. Currently 2.2C, another beautiful sunny morning.
  11. Thanks Blackie, I think I've managed it although I can't edit my previous posts. So hopefully Shuggee will delete those whilst I put them here.
  12. Sorry to post again but its now 1.0C and I can't believe how fast its dropping. No wind, no cloud. Looking good.
  13. But of course, a mere slip of the tongue me lad. I'm sure you understand.
  14. yep Stevenage....aka Michael Barrymores very own gen-u-ine HOTSPOT. We made a high of 10.9C today, and its currently 1.2C. Mustn't grumble its been a loverly day!
  15. Wow 12.9C shame it didn't break the record, but a few have tumbled this year and its not over yet.........
  16. Well I wouldn't win any coldest temperature competitions....never mind. Currently 7.3C and a glorious sunny day.

  21. There still seems plenty of room for manouvre in that forecast, I wouldn't be surprised if they returned to a cold end to the month as they still seem to be hinting at that possibility.

  23. Oh thanks John, I have set something up in Excel, but am always willing to learn from a master. If you could send something that would be great. I'll follow OON's report as it appears quite basic. <_<
  24. I remember a work colleague scoffing when I used to buy the Express. Needless to say I haven't bought it in years.....I buy the Sun, much more reliable. <_<
