    well the forecast for my area has got worse on meto got the rain coming in much earlier in the day. Are they completely wrong or is this how its actually going to be?

    nice snow shower here at the moment! According to the Meto its goingto be nice and snowy through the night and into tomorrow morning but then turning to rain in the afternoon. hmmm about right that with the way this winter has gone

    thanks to the people that replied to me. yes definitely a southern bias in the mod thread. well fingers crossed things start looking up for the whole of our region

    am i right in thinking that the next cold shot that the models are firming up on, is only any good for the south? as thats the impression i get when reading through the MOD thread. Thanks

    quite strong winds this morning, which im not enjoying, keep checking on the back garden fence which was looking a tad shakey this morning lol. i have a gut feeling we are missing out over the coming days, snow all around us though by the looks of it, sods law. hoping something crops up at short notice, but you cant win them all

    lets hope we all have something to chat about in here in the coming days. Fingers crossed the meto warning is wrong as at the moment it looks like a lot of us will miss out this time. We can only hope

    fab start to winter, waking up to a covering of snow and it still falling! Wasn't expecting it, so was a lovely surprise. Kids were really giddy until they found out it isn't enough to close the school

    MetO have removed my heavy snow symbols and replaced them with sleet, as i suspected would happen haha.

    not expecting anything here really, not enough elevation, sleet at best maybe. cant say im bothered though, because its early November and the fact some in our region are going to be on lamp post watch is fantastic. Really cant wait for winter now

    morning everyone its fab to be back and with really interesting cold synoptics for AUTUMN! such a turnaround from what we are used to from previous years. I even have sleet showing for my area tuesday...all night into wednesday morning. im happy with that haha. Bring on winter!

    wow! what a storm that was. madness...soooo dark..hail..wind...rain and not to mention the lightning striking every couple of seconds. didnt want it to go could have watched it all night.

    Ahhh good old lamp post watching...when snow lovers everywhere look like insane curtain twitchers through the night! Lol It's mostly rain here atm with maybe the odd flake in it...I think

    Snowing again here atm, can't see it adding anything though. Everything gone slushy now. Won't be long until it is rain again it can't seem to make its mind up. Not complaining (for once) haha. Got more than was expected this morning so I'm happy

    Just drizzle here now. Was fab to see it falling though and my 1 year old little girl got so giddy bless her, although they have cancelled her swimming lesson this afternoon can't really see why to be honest but oh well, cosy day in the house now.

    Meto going for a lot of rain through the night, how nice would it be for those heavy rain symbols to dramatically change to heavy snow symbols instead hehe. Now I'm just getting greedy...but can hope lol
