  1. Lol. I think if they didn't moan as much then the Lord might give them some of the white stuff!

i think that is spot on, the weather gods can see they obvs dont deserve it, with their bias in the MOD thread and the mood swings, well they can keep the MOD thread if the weather gods are gonna keep sticking fingers to them LOL

  2. The nice thing about snow on our street is the community spirit that it brings out. Clearing the road of snow so we can get our cars out of the estate is the one event when we actually speak to our neighbours :cold:

yes it is " hiya, im so sorry one of my kids put your window through with an ice ball" lol

  3. Haha.

Well I'd say the favoured areas are definatly west/north yorkshire and western parts of south yorkshire, generally the further west you are the better. As ever wih showers coming in from the north west this will always be the case. But the flip side, come sunday when this disturbance tracks down the eastern side of the uk it will be east yorkshire, linconshire at greatest risk!

ah, okidoki, thanks for your reply, i have no idea which side of south yorkshire i am LOL, well what will be will be :)

  4. if anyone would like to do an update later regarding todays models and how they look just for our region would be great, just for folk like me that are forever trying to learn :help: ...if anyone can be bothered that is, i know im a pain in the backside  it would be greatly appreciated   :good:

  5. No your not stupid snowplease.

Those posts probably come from posters in either Manchester, Liverpool, Cumbria, that kind of eara. Lancashire is north west from us. They mean North West England.

For yourself in Barnsley, your South Yorkshire, the same as myself in Sheffield. If you hear either of those mentioned then class that as you.

If you hear the usual 'Birmingham north' or 'midlands north' then just take that as good as Yorkshire is north of both those statements.

    Hope this helps!

ok thank you Winter Cold, that has helped yes. :) :)

  6. when in the MOD thread and seeing "looking very good for the north west" am i right in thinking that i am not north west at my location, am i central in the north or more to the west or east, i realise i am probably making myself  look incredibly stupid asking this but geography never was my strong point LOL :)
