  1. This looks reasonably ok from the BBC.....
  2. Agree with the above on the Met current concentration. If it comes as a high chance of snow, purely based on the dense population in that area - would have a bigger impact. I believe (probably hope) once they get a better handle closer to the time perhaps we will be lucky enough to get an upgrade and a warning appear in other areas further west to the current once. JK
  3. Seems to be more towards Cwmbran / Pontypool....
  4. First of this winter - not loads, but some! John Snow 22 01 19.mp4
  5. Here goes, a few flakes starting in Bargoed...... it's close by
  6. Bargoed way - I'll let you know if anything turns up - I doubt it!! John
  7. Don't think there is enough westwards progression before the inevitable push from the high pressure takes it down southwards. Would be nice to get a little more tonight but there is enough here to cause issues getting to work in the morning!
  8. Fizzling out now. Decent covering but temperature has increased which is not forecast.
  9. Going to watch Wales later and I should be ok to drive back from Cardiff to Bargoed - that is before the fun starts isn't it? I've not been able to keep up with forecast last 2 days!
  10. Thst's because there is not a lot currently on the cards for us. Not an awful lot of time to change left - but pressure is on the higher side so might squeeze any shower activity to a minimum.
  11. Means the slightly milder air is encroaching....
  12. Regards to snow this afternoon - an occlusion is forecast to push north this afternoon and re-intesnify.
  13. Hows the driftometer looking Steve - disappeared?
  14. Proper 'UK' non blowy flakes coming down here.... that's different - definitely more moisture in the air....
  15. Here we go again - a little bit more to add on top.....
  16. Where will it come from Andy (apart from sky )- nothing else to come out of France? The East doesn't seem to have anything to come in?
  17. If we think about it - it's holding in the Channel - the 15:00 start would be in Devon - it was always going to be a few hours to spread up to Wales....
  18. Looking at radar be longer than that.... if it goes far enough north be more like 7pm - I think it's struggling in it's northwards extent.
  19. Funnily enough the snow si hopping from one side of the grass to the other!
  20. Got a sinking feeling Steve that this is it....
  21. Knock knock - who's there - the heavy stuff.... I'm waiting for you to knock on my door heave stuff where are you! This is a red whimper thus far... i'm impatient!
