  1. So far in Dudley, glorious sunshine and feels like a nice spring day. Cold in the shade but in the sun, quite comfortable. Temp at 5.6C.
  2. Here's hoping those responsible for keeping us moving on the roads are keeping as up to date with the developing situation as we are...
  3. Lots of wind overnight, a few overturned wheelie bins on the way to work this morning. Very mild overnight, reaching the dizzying heights of 9.1C. Down to 4.6C now and the wind seems to have subsided. 2.8mm overnight rain.
  4. Very windy this evening in Dudley. Gusting frequently 30 mph+ Mild temperatures, snow has fully melted now after rain this evening. 8.2C at the moment. What a 24 hours it has turned out to be weather wise. There will no doubt be some wind damage tomorrow. I can hear a roar outside due to the wind.
  5. If we did, I think the place would pretty much come to a standstill.
  6. Is everyone looking at next Monday/Tuesday with interest?
  7. No extra snow overnight (since last post at midnight), everything seems to have frozen making the side roads very icy. Overnight low of -0.4C, now at 0.0C.
  8. Lots of snow in Dudley (in comparison with recent times). Snow showers all evening, some heavy, have left a 0.5cms covering. Now 0.3C and snow lying. We'll see what overnight brings, the roads are not fun at the moment around Dudley, a few accidents on my drive home just. Large traffic jam between Cousins and Castlegate Island, I can only assume because of an accident. The roads don't seem to have been treated at all.
  9. Interesting so far today, temperature dropped from 4.6C to 2.1C between 12.19 and 12.56 here in Dudley, coinciding with a sleet/snow shower with quite large flakes. It's not accumulated, just making the ground wet. The shower was heavy for around 15 minutes and was mostly snow. Also hello everyone, been a long time since I was on here (that long I needed to create a new account!). Been reading as a guest for quite a while now but figured I should join in.
