Same here, i'm travelling to Colwyn Bay for my birthday for the weekend. Looks like it will be snow there too, more marginal as on coast but only a few miles inland and it should be winter wonderland.
yeah should be a good weekend to be in North Wales!!!

It's started snowing big wet flakes in Manc CC now, doubt it will stick though as it's very wet out and not that cold, looks good though!
Edit - It's getting a lot heavier now, looks nice from my office window!

Is really coming down again in Salford, big flakes too. My car is getting covered again and only went out in it an hour ago. My friends up in Edenfield are snowed in!

I can't believe it's not letting up at all, intensifying if anything, got a really good covering now, I'm loving it. As is my cat, he's 3 and has never seen proper snow like this, he keeps running in and out the cat flap, meowing loudly and frolicking like a nutter in the snow!

Very strange. I live in Salford, thermometre reading -1oC and still moderate snow, settled everywhere over last hour, not deep but great to watch. Would have imagined Stockport would have got similar!
Yeah same here, very odd that Stockport has nothing, is even settling on my road which is pretty busy this time of day.

Getting heavy again, everything got a covering now, am just a wee bit excited!
-
Getting heavier and starting to stick to surfaces but not the ground as yet.
-
Is getting darker and colder here and the snow is starting to get into it's stride.
-
Ok is starting to actually snow, very slowly getting more and more fluttering down, fingers crossed for the evening.

Sorry Griff74 but there is absolutely no snow anywhere around Ramsbottom or even much higher up where I am.
Hopefully that may change with some of these showers if they ever make it.
Damn it! I can see plenty of white on the hills above Oldham (I think, where all the wind turbines are) from desk at work, maybe I'll go look around there, also had snow and ice alerts for all around by were my folks and brother live in North Wales so might pop down there instead, is about time my brothers shiny new Defender that he got just before crimbo got it's first proper work out I'd say (he's being far to precious about it, what was the point of the massive mud and snow tyres it's got otherwise?!?! lol).
