I feel your pain. I have the misfortune to have an office near Wolverhampton, and it always seems that even Mother Nature hates the area. There will be rain / storms / snow in Salop, Staffs, Worcs, B'ham, etc but Wolves will have perpetual anti-cyclonic gloom. Bah!

Need some better tyres full stop, tbh. I bought it off my father-in-law who never shod his cars with good rubber (apart from his old 911, which was treated to period-correct Michelins). The 5 currently has 4 x LingLong Pontefract Sport Non-Contacts, or something equally gripless.

I'm not entirely sure I'm looking forward to any meaningful snow. Older 5-Series' with auto boxes don't cope all that well IIRC.
