Well If we want the cold then better take a trip to Toronto, Canada as -17c at the moment with a wind chill of -31c. Friends tell me that it a bank holiday weekend over there and they are staying inside as on Sunday they are being told the temp will be around -21c with a massive wind chill!!! Well got to a glorious 3.5c and now falling back again 3.3c with a mist again

I was so surprised went out at 11am car read -1c for whole journey. It will go low tonight as the sun is not coming through and fog is lingering

What the heck with these temps like a bides nighty. I came home at five and temp dropped from 3c to 2c then it went up to 2.7c then 3c now 1c

Just on 0c here now and crystal clear

It is dropping like a stone now 1.5c

Its been snowing now since 11pm the heaviest we have had all day and it is till heavy in Swinton

Does anyone know about this low coming out of Atlantic Canada that may follow the jet stream down and the UK could be in the path. From what Alex Deakin was saying last night that this could give alot of snow for the UK from Saturday?

The winds will come st8 down from the artic so fridgid is the word on Saturday. Heating will be on all day

Wow. Temp has now dipped to 3c with sleet and hale and so windy

Woke up at 6am and the temp was about 7.5c. The cold front is well on it's way south as we are now at 4c
