    Currently rain to snow to rain to snow in Derry ...think further inland will do well in heavier bursts

    Yea dew points and surface temps have been dropping all day but air temp has stayed around 2.5 too 3 ...will just have wait and see

    I do follow the euro 4 when things get this close but I think it assumes everywhere is 200m asl and you have to account for that

    Yea that is annoying probably only going to be a degree or two out from a good event , high routes might still get a whack in the heaviest bursts though..

    Eeeesh that last shower that passed through was more sleet and has settled on earlier snow that's turned it too sheet ice ....that is for sure accident territory out there

    Well it was all looking good for an easterly at day 12 for about 2 days and then the high has gone to far north east so we end up on the wrong side of it.....so In conclusion, just the usual haha , I have found enjoyment in the mountain snow reports thread though

    Worked a season in Banff and as carinthan says above it's just slap bang the best spot you would put resorts, sunshine can manage to produce fresh powder on some of the driest days
