That MCS in France is exploding...I don't mean to get anyone's hopes up but these things can develop a mind of their own regards which direction it travels..almost like a mini low pressure and they can go against the steering winds...it appears to be moving directly north atm...hopefully some will be pleased and have stories to share...best of luck everyone...maybe expect the unexpected...!!

Look on Sat 24...all those storms are moving NE...lol despite the wind coming in from the SE...seriously you can't buy a storm here...the last really thunder year here was 2014...need a storm fix...

I remember when this forum was a great resource of knowledge...I've always for many years in fact eves dropped with great interest....lately trawling through here is becoming a bit of a gfuqhgfpjh fest for want of a better phrase...with people having do defend their posts and various point scoring boring waftery. Surely we are going to lose some great posters in here if it carries on like this. Please for the love of God if you take issue with something PM each other or just leave. The majority on here are having it spoilt by the few..let's bring back some common sense..

To avoid confusion or disappointment don't watch the lasted bbc forcast...where wafty graphics are back...does anyone have any idea where the far south East stands tonight...I've already beaten last year with two storms in two days...so can't grumble...but would love to see something special from this potential...wherever u are good luck...

Definitely a rumble...but I can see blue sky moving in from the south...so nearly over..

I have a great view to the south here...just pitch black all the way to the horizon...expecting to at least hear some thunder...this band is still being forcast to weaken by the beeb this morning but it's intensifying...just goes to show how difficult these things are to forcast...

Black to the south West so Base visible...still nothing heard but this looks like quite a mature storm...other towers going up too...

Well I've just out of the window and there are big towers to the south and south West....look to be developing rapidly...so.maybe a chance here...meanwhile Sunday nights potential action on the bbc graphics looks like being West of here...but will take with a pinch of salt until tomorrow....best of luck to everyone..

Looked at the met office weather warning for my area for late sunday and was quite inspired...followed by the bbc weather forcast to be met with u usual wafty graphics...although I understand detail is hard to pin down..their graphics really don't help...anyone else find this?...in any case good luck to everyone...hope u get some humdingers...oh now I've really jinxed it...

Had a couple of flashes and some rumbles earlier...a bit too far away...I think the forecasts got the track of these bang on although not the intensity...not exactly biblical...good luck all...
