    Black skies to the east I think here...not heard any even distant thunder today...it's quite confusing which way showers or storms are moving today even running a radar loop...I think in from the north east...assume there's not a lot of electrical activity out there as the forum is pretty quiet...but here's hoping...

    I think one area to watch for the South East is the channel south of Portsmouth. If you run the loop on sat24 you can see the cloud bubble up. I'm sure cell development will happen there soon

    55 pages of topic and it hasn't even started yet lol. Humidity gone up here the breeze felt cooler earlier not now though I've got the fan back out. It's actually feeling a bit eerie here sort of darkening with signs of instability all eyes on France/ channel now. This was always a tough one to forecast more now say I think. Here's hoping for all of us.

    Hard to see as it's quite hazy here but it seems convection is initialising here to the sout and south west for sure the skies are changing. I wonder what will happen. Who knows

    I'm surprised the system over France isn't drawing more attention. I seriously think warnings will go out for the South east at some stage. If that survives it could be nasty stuff. I've been checking it's progress. It continues to develop and I think it will arrive earlier than expected. Happy days if it does

    Anyone seen that stuff over France? If that's on course for us I would say that would arrive in the early hours. BBC not forecasting anything until tomorrow afternoon. It's really oppressive out there this evening certainly has that feel about it we shall see

    Hi this is my first post on here but been following for a while. I'm in Basildon where it it really dark atm. Did hear a couple of rumbles earlier but it's gone quite now. Not sure if we're expecting any more? Nice to virtually meet you all
