  1. Fog here this morning is clearing so hopefully it will give way to clear skies.
  2. Just wanted to mention I was walking down a lane near Winsley yesterday and I saw a frog ; then I went around the corner and there were dozens of them all just hopping along the path and they were nowhere else along the lane just that one corner
  3. I think nothing is going to happen as the whole afternoon so far has just been that band of drizzle stopping showers developing down here. Edit: Now the suns come out
  4. Got a shower here with drizzle but its actually quite nice as there's lovely fine slow drops. Hoping for some thunder today
  5. A thin layer of haze has blocked out the blue sky here now unfortunately...
  6. Just started raining here although light. Moderate now Wind picking up
  7. Big black clouds heading towards here with some bright colours on the radar.
  8. Terrible winds here locked doors to outside creaking and loads of branches have fallen constant rumbling as well. Was not expecting this. Barometer now 977mb after falling to 970mb.
  9. Awww that thundershower just missed me to the south well at least I get a cool cloudscape.
  10. Happy Easter everyone, moderate shower passing over right now but no lightning. The lightning is in Dorset.
  11. First interesting day in weeks! Dark clouds at around 8:30 led to a nine minute hailstorm (H0) which left a good dusting on the ground ; followed by a downpour. Then at 9:30 the wind started blowing a gale and a wintry mix of hail pellets/sleet fell sideways for around 5 minutes. Even if it wasn't good quality sleet it still was my first since December 2012 so I got pretty excited
  12. Quite a nice day for a change with cloud and sky ending in a draw. Lovely cloud structures right now to my south despite no rain.
  13. Hail the size of small marbles at 11:45 and a torrential shower now. Wind is quite strong but worst damage is a few sticks falling of trees...
  14. Yeah the squall was really strong both sides of me but became drizzle here. Also I can't seem to get rid of this quote...
  15. It's over the railings but that happens most winters but it's close and I haven't been down there for a few hours. With more rain on the way tonight and tomorrow I think there's a good chance it will flood the centre.
  16. I can confirm the Avon has burst it's banks at Bathampton, Keynsham and Limpley Stoke.
  17. 29mm here and it's still coming down. Xc weather predicting 66mph gusts on Monday which would be one of the windiest days in a long time.
