Sooo another day off tomorrow here? Thought we'd have more overnight bit very little, however, from what's been said Motherwell getting loads more today?
Had a few showers pass through but anything that's lay has soon gone. Very little at the moment but have a keen eye East, would appear that anything which hits Edinburgh gets here.
Hmm, both BBC and Met Office apps have it cloudy here with a little sun. It's been snowing, albeit lightly, for a fair little while now and radar appears to have this continuing for a lengthy spell.
Can see it from the office here. Much earlier than forecast, usual suspects had us with a light shower tomorrow afternoon. Bring on the streamer please!
I'm up and down with the snow models in particular. I know it's a flow in which anything could happen, but most seem to think the Motherwell area (about 83m above sea level) won't do well at all with regards to snow. Hope I'm wrong of course....
I think a lot of folk will take it with a pinch of salt given that, over the winter thus far, there have been numerous warnings but the actual weather hasn't been as bad. It's trying to get the message across to the uninitiated just how serious this is.
Looks like reload to me after the worst of this one passes through. Going to be a busy time at the football with all the up-and-coming postponements I'm sure.
I think given how things have gone recent years that until it actually occurs no-one will be 100% convinced it's going to happen, just been our luck. But it looks like this is one the bookies would pay out early on. I was wondering about the Forth-Clyde valley being a funnel to showers from the East though it looks like I won't have to rely on that for snow. Superb outlook.
