    At least we should all enjoy Summer sunshine this weekend! according to GFS! Interesting - GFS00 Predicts low pressure but GFS 06Z predicts high pressure!

    i dont believe that the high pressure will settle over the UK i predict at best it will be a transient feature in between Low Pressure systems

    Lets see if this verifies - id be happy with 28 degrees for the rest of August in manchester I am off to Majorca on August 29th so hoping for four weeks of sun in August. Fingers crossed! Fax Charts look positive and Wunderground are predicting clear skies for manchester on Saturday!

    i dont believe that we will get the Azores high this weekend! GFS is very inaccurate model! i dont trust the 06Z. Lets see if it is still there in the 12Z.

    No signs of any settled weather in August with the Jet Stream continuing its path to the south of the UK. Is this part of the 10 year trend that was repeated on the Horizon documentary last week about the jet Stream

    Just been looking at accuweather and they are predicting rain 5 days out of 14!

    Can anyone tell me where i can get a forecast for Palma, Majorca for the period August 28th to September 14th 2015? I am going then and need to know whether i am likely to be hit my thunderstorms rain and wind! Or whether it will be hot and sunny for 2 weeks?

    GFS 12Z are encouraging for some fine weather over the next two weeks with above average temperatures. Not totally settled but much better than last nights GFS18Z The questions is weather it will verify!

    I think we are stuck in the 2007-2009 summer pattern of the Jet Stream in the wrong position. I note that the United States are having a 40 degree heatwave and breaking their July records while in Rochdale it was only 7 degrees today!

    Models starting to indicate hot weather - GFS is very optimistic about hot weather in England! Hope it reaches Leeds Not sure that this will verify though i have seen this before in June - GFS predicted a two week heatwave and instead we had 1 decent day!

    CFS into August 2015 shows very unsettled conditions - lots of rain across the whole of the UK/

    GFS completely changed their tune - low pressure and cool westerlies rather than long sunny spells is now in the cards. The only hope is that the 12Z doesnt verify out at 168+ This is most disappointing

    Really poor GFS runs tonight with the Jetstream over the UK for the next 16 days its going to be very changeable and no sign of good summer weather. Im afraid the Models are very negative and the hints of the Azores high pressure ridging in from last nights GFS have all but vanished.
