Can i ask what it stops you doing? Temps don't stop you doing things in this range, i find personally the hotter it becomes ie 25c plus the less the weather is useable. i agree wet weather can be a different thing though.

This is what i find fascinating, how folk feel the weather totally differently. for me May has been t shirt and shorts, no coat,jacket etc. But add 10c and you'd be comfortable and i would be moaning! Certainly wouldn't be sitting out in it like i have been this month.

I fully understand what you mean, my favourite 2 months are Nov and Dec, i love that time of year with the reduction in light levels but for over 10 years now since 2010 they have been useless, mild crap. You have my sympathies.

Getting battered, power dropping on and off,.....god knows how the internet is still on!

I honestly can say, no ramping or trying to wind folk up at all but this Spring weather wise has been first class, records broken left right and centre now for the 3rd or 4th time proper storms, power dropping off, hail the works. How anybody who is a weather enthusiast can critics this for me doesn't make sense, isn't this what we want?

Couldn't live without AC now in the bedroom. Sleepless nights make any hot spell 10 times harder to endure.

Not good! But that's it exactly, when i'm hot my arthritis is much worse, weird but fascinating. Cold and i'm much more active.

I think that's the reason many find weather so interesting, everybody can feel the same temps in such a different way, its fascinating i find. For myself those temps especially 20c would be at the top end of warm and bordering on hot, for yourself nothing like that. How there is such a divergence i still find amazing.

Thank god that awful April has gone, all that sunshine(record breaking), light winds, lack of rain...what a pain that was.....

Wow....moaning about folk moaning about weather in a month's plus time which might not even happen

That's exactly what i was talking about!...you can't order weather to a exact specification.

Certain folk on here seem to forget, you don't order what weather you would like down to every detail...This April has been cool i admit, record breaking but on the plus dry and with a good deal of sunshine on my travels. Surely this record breaking should be of interest? Just as record heat has been to those who crave it in summer, the last 2 summers prove it. Just a thought....We've just had the coldest winter since 2010 i believe, now the coldest Spring, is that correct? If so this happens 12months after the world stopped moving, stopped travelling, stopped polluting by a massive scale. The figures this Summer could be very interesting to those climate sceptics!

You certainly have reason to moan!! Very challenging and i'm sure the out look coupled with this April has been shocking. Fingers crossed for folk like yourself things improve. As for the others who moan....well they should try and understand how badly the weather can effect folk such as yourself before going on about how they feel frigidly cold in in slight breeze in lovely blue skied dry April weather!

Folk sat out as i type in Sheffield, they have for a fortnight now. This has been a really welcome Spring this year weather wise, yes a tad cool for some but the amount of sunshine and no rain coupled with light winds. Great for kids getting out(which is so important), no deluge of rain. I'm struggling to understand why folk are moaning so much, its ONLY April after all. To right off May for warmth now is as daft as righting off November for cold when the clocks go back in October!!!

I agree, April has been a fantastic month weather wise, lovely cool nights and mornings, plenty of sunshine and a bit of warmth for those who like it. Really really struggling to see how anybody could complain....its April.

I'm very much in the camp that mother nature always balances things out in the long run. After such a extended dry spell, a wet May/early June i feel is on the cards....to be honest the farmers would quite like that!
